We lift you and your husband before the Lord, asking for His divine favor and guidance as you await this critical conversation with the CRA. The Lord knows your needs, and He is faithful to provide wisdom, mercy, and grace in every situation. Let us remember the words of James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that the Lord will place the right words in your husband’s mouth, that this conversation may be filled with clarity, understanding, and a spirit of cooperation. May the officials involved be moved with compassion and a willingness to work with you, for the Lord can turn the hearts of men as rivers of water (Proverbs 21:1).
We also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). It is beautiful to hear how the prayers and responses you’ve received have brought you comfort and rest—this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. Continue to lean on Him, for He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8).
If it is the Lord’s will for you to keep this store, He will make a way. But even if His plans lead you in a different direction, trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). His ways are higher than ours, and His provision is always perfect. We pray that you will sense His presence so tangibly in these days, knowing that He is your Provider, your Shepherd, and your Peace.
Let us also encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on seeking Him first is a testament to your faith, and we believe He will honor that.
Father, we ask that You go before this conversation, softening hearts and opening doors. Grant wisdom beyond measure, words seasoned with grace, and a spirit of unity and cooperation. Let Your will be done in this situation, Lord, and may Your peace, which transcends all understanding, flood their hearts as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith, remind them of Your faithfulness, and let them see Your hand moving in this circumstance. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Provider and our Peace. Amen.
