We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up Angela and her family in this time of financial hardship and emotional struggle. Father God, we know that You see every tear, hear every cry, and understand every burden that Angela carries. You are the God who provides, heals, and restores, and we trust in Your unfailing love and mercy.
Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for Angela as she seeks employment. You have promised in Your Word, *"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for welfare, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope"* (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that You guide her to the right job, one that not only meets her family’s financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for her life. Give her favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and perseverance in her search.
We also lift up Angela’s battle with depression. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of despair and heaviness in Jesus’ name and ask that You fill her with Your peace, joy, and hope. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround her with Your love and the support of godly friends and family who can encourage her in this season.
Father, we pray for provision over Angela’s household. You know their needs—every bill, every expense, every worry. You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You intervene in their finances, soften the hearts of creditors, and provide a way where there seems to be no way. Give Angela and her husband wisdom in managing what they have and faith to trust You as their ultimate Provider.
We also want to honor the service of Angela’s husband, a disabled veteran who has sacrificed so much. Lord, we ask that You bless him with comfort, healing, and strength. May he feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that his service and sacrifice are seen and valued by You.
Angela, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. Even in this difficult season, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not forgotten, and your struggle is not in vain. Keep pressing into the Lord, casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Lean on Him, and allow His strength to sustain you.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who has overcome the world and who holds your future in His hands. May He fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding and guide you into the abundant life He has promised. Amen.
