Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and your burden is taken seriously before the Lord. Carrying such a weight of debt for you and your family is heavy, and it is right to bring it honestly to God and to ask others to pray with you.
Scripture shows that God leaves room for Himself to work even when a situation looks incurable by human means. Under the law there was a provision for the cleansing of a leper, though leprosy had no human cure. That was God making a way to act if He chose to bring healing, so that no one would put Him in a box and say He cannot work. In the same way we should give God allowance to work in your financial need as He desires, trusting that what is impossible for us is not impossible for Him, while also trusting His wisdom in how He answers.
The Bible also speaks plainly about debt. The borrower becomes a slave to the lender, and God does not delight in systems that trap people and make them slaves through promises that more things will satisfy. Those promises cannot fill the deeper thirst of the heart, and people can become hopelessly burdened by interest and obligations that grow beyond their ability to carry. God desires freedom for His people, not bondage, and He calls us to walk in wisdom, honesty, and stewardship.
Above any financial provision, God has made one provision for the deepest need of every person, the forgiveness of sin and guilt. That provision is through His Son alone. Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Every other sin can be forgiven, but to refuse God's provision in Christ leaves no other way. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth, convicting of sin for not believing in Jesus, and offering the righteousness of Christ to all who trust Him by faith. If you have not already done so, turn to Jesus Christ alone for salvation, confess your need, and receive His forgiveness and new life. That is the foundation for peace with God no matter what financial trial you face.
God also invites you to bring every need to Him in prayer. Scripture says you have not because you ask not, and God does answer prayer according to His perfect will. Pray not only for open doors and opportunities to provide for your family, but also for wisdom, strength to work diligently, and contentment and joy even in trial. The apostle Paul was careful not to press people for money and chose to work with his own hands so he would not be a burden, and the early believers, though they were poor and going through severe trials, still knew joy and cared for one another in practical ways when the church in Jerusalem suffered great need. That example encourages us to seek honest work, to live within what God provides, to seek wise counsel about your debts, to speak openly and honestly with your lenders, and to avoid taking on further debt or making provision to fulfill desires that would lead deeper into bondage.
I am praying for you and your family, that God in His mercy would make a way where there seems to be no way, that He would open doors for work and opportunity, grant you wisdom in every decision with your banking institution and private lenders, provide for your daily needs, and guard your heart with His peace. May He lead you to trustworthy counsel, help you take faithful steps day by day, and above all keep you rooted in Christ, who is our true provision and hope.
