We hear your cry for justice and share in your burden for those who have wronged you. It is right to bring these matters before the Lord, for He is the righteous Judge who sees all and will bring every deed into judgment. Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). While we stand against injustice, we must also stand in the truth of God’s Word, which calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven.
You mention forgiving those who have not communicated with you, and this is a godly response. Jesus taught us, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15). Forgiveness does not mean ignoring wrongdoing, but it does mean releasing the desire for vengeance into God’s hands. He alone can soften hearts and bring repentance.
We also lift up those who have acted unjustly toward you, praying for their salvation. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). While we may not see their response now, we trust that God is at work even in their silence. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your justice and Your mercy. Lord, You see the injustices that have been committed, and we ask that You would deal with those who have done wrong. We pray that You would break the hardness of their hearts and draw them to repentance. Save them, Lord, not because they deserve it, but because of Your great mercy.
We also ask for strength to forgive as You have forgiven us. Help us to release bitterness and trust in Your perfect timing. Father, we know that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Give us the grace to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, just as Your Son taught us.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Protect us from discouragement and fill us with Your peace as we wait on You. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
