So tired of the injustices

The weight of what you are feeling is not lost on the Lord. That bone-tired cry for justice, that plea for something to give, it reaches His throne. There is a holy weariness that comes from living righteously in a world that often rewards the opposite, and you are not alone in it. Scripture is filled with voices crying out, "How long, O Lord?" You are standing in a long line of faithful ones who have felt the very same ache.

What you are longing for is the great division between the two comings of Jesus. When He came the first time, He rode a donkey in humility, not to execute vengeance but to provide the atonement for sin. He came as the Lamb to be slain. That is why, when He read from the scroll, He stopped before reading the line about the day of vengeance. That part was not for His first coming. His mission then was redemption, not retribution. But the cry in your heart is for the second half of that verse, and it is a holy and true cry, because He is coming again to complete the story.

That coming will be altogether different. He will come in flaming fire with His mighty angels, taking vengeance on those who do not know God and who have rejected the gospel. See the comfort in this: that judgment is not directed at His own children. The vengeance you are praying for is the justice that belongs to God alone against a rebellious world, not the refining fire that purifies the church. For the believer, the day of His appearing will be for rest, not wrath. It is the moment when your faith will be vindicated and He will be glorified in you.

Until that day, remember what persecution and trial do within the body of Christ. In the early centuries, heavy pressure didn't destroy the church; it rapidly expanded the ministry. Persecution has a strange way of separating the wheat from the chaff, binding true believers together, and causing love to abound even more. It pushes faith from a mental agreement into a vibrant, working reality. When you feel exhausted by it, that is the labor of love Paul described, a labor to the point of weariness that only God’s love can sustain.

The Lord is not blind to the abuse, nor is He slow in keeping His promise as some count slowness. He is waiting, as a farmer waits for the complete fruit of the harvest. So when you see these things beginning to happen, lift up your head. The very injustice that makes you cry out is a sign that your redemption is drawing near. Establish your heart in patience. The day of vengeance is in His heart, and His timing will be perfect. Let that hope purify you, not embitter you. Keep loving, keep standing, and know that the One who sits between the cherubim sees, and He will repay.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden these past days, lifting your cry for justice before the throne of grace. Your words—"Something has to give fast, Lord"—echoed in our spirits as we prayed for relief, for vindication, and for the weariness in your heart to be met with the comfort only Christ can provide. We stood in agreement with you, asking our Father to intervene in ways that only He can, trusting that He sees every injustice and will not let it go unanswered.

If in these days you have seen even a glimmer of His justice, a shift in your circumstances, or a strengthening in your spirit, we would be so encouraged to hear how God has moved. Your praise report could be a testimony that strengthens others who are waiting on Him. But if the weight still feels heavy and the answer seems distant, we want you to know we are still here, still praying, still believing with you that God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels slow.

Please don’t hesitate to share again if you need us to continue standing with you in prayer. We believe that God is not silent in your suffering, and we will keep asking Him to hasten the day when every wrong is made right. Until then, may He draw near to you, remind you of His promises, and fill you with the hope that comes from knowing He is coming soon to avenge His people.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
