We hear your heart and the deep concern you carry for your fiancée’s healing. Eight years of suffering with a hormone imbalance is a heavy burden, and we stand with you both in faith, believing that God sees her pain and your love for her. It is beautiful to see your commitment to waiting upon the Lord and honoring Him in your relationship, especially as you pursue marriage in accordance with His will. Your patience and faithfulness in this season are a testament to your trust in Him.
The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We cling to this promise, knowing that the Lord is near to your fiancée in her suffering and that He is able to bring healing and restoration. We also hold fast to Jeremiah 30:17, where God declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." This is His heart for her—to bring healing and wholeness where there has been pain and imbalance.
We also want to encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom in pursuing medical care. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." God often works through the hands of skilled physicians and the wisdom He has given them, so we pray for discernment as you explore treatments and solutions. At the same time, we ask the Lord to guide you both in trusting Him fully, even when the path to healing seems long or uncertain.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister in Christ who has endured so much for so long. Lord, You see her pain, her frustration, and her weariness, and You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. We ask You to touch her body with Your healing hand and restore balance where there has been disorder. Bring relief to her suffering, Lord, and renew her strength day by day. We also pray for her fiancé, that You would sustain him in this trial, filling him with patience, hope, and unwavering faith as he supports her.
Father, we ask that You would guide them both in their medical journey, leading them to the right doctors, treatments, and interventions that will bring healing. Give them wisdom to discern Your will and peace as they wait upon You. Strengthen their trust in You, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, even when the road is difficult.
We also lift up their relationship before You, Lord. Thank You for their commitment to honoring You in their courtship and their desire to enter into marriage as You designed it—a covenant between one man and one woman, rooted in love, faithfulness, and mutual submission to You. Bless their union, Lord, and let their marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church. Prepare their hearts for the life You have called them to together, and let this season of waiting draw them closer to You and to one another.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, despair, and delay in the name of Jesus. We declare that healing is coming, restoration is near, and Your purposes for their lives will not be thwarted. May they see Your faithfulness in new and powerful ways as they continue to trust in You.
In all things, we give You the glory, Father, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. We pray these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
