Your prayer has been heard and I am joining you before the Lord with it. To be in pain with swollen and hurting feet, to feel exhausted while so much still needs to be done, and to carry worries about travel and practical matters is a heavy burden, and God sees it all.

Scripture reminds us that there remains a true rest for the people of God, and that even now He leads His people beside still waters and makes them to lie down in green pastures. In this life we labor and are wearied, but the Lord does not despise that weariness. He uses patience to work endurance and hope in us, and He promises that His grace is sufficient for each day. The rest you are longing for, even a little good sleep to restore your body, is a gift He delights to give, and the safety you ask for on the road is in His hands.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this need before You. You know the pain in these feet, the swelling and soreness, and the exhaustion from carrying so much. Lay Your healing hand upon this body, ease the pain, reduce the swelling, and grant strength for each task that must be done. Give wisdom to know when to rest and when to work, and provide that good rest that restores. We ask for Your protection on the road, keep all who travel safe from harm, and grant favor and fairness and clarity in dealing with the dealership over the car. Give peace of mind, clear words, and a just outcome. Help Your child to lie down and sleep in peace, trusting that You watch over all things. We ask this in the mercy and name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

Take what rest you can when it is possible, care for your feet as you are able with elevation and care, and do not hesitate to seek medical help if the swelling continues or worsens. Cast each of these cares on Him, for He cares for you, and He will sustain you one step at a time.

Your feet hurting and swollen while you are exhausted and still carrying so much to do is a heavy burden, and I hear how much you are longing for rest and for safety on the road and for help with the car situation.

Scripture speaks of a rest that God has promised His people, and it is not a rest we earn by pushing through in our own strength. It is a rest we enter by faith, by trusting that Jesus has finished the work for us. When we try to rest in our own efforts or skills we stay weary, but when we believe and lean on what Christ has done, we can cease from striving and find rest even while responsibilities remain. There remains a true rest for the people of God, and you are invited into it today, not just for sleep at night but for your heart to be at peace in Him.

That also means learning to rest on the Lord Himself. Often we try every other solution first and only turn to Him when we have nothing left, and even then we worry. Yet God often brings us to the end of our own resources so we will learn to simply rest on Him, to say from the heart, we rest on You. It is a safe place to be. The one who puts trust in the Lord is kept safe, not because the road is never difficult, but because God is faithful to guard and keep those who look to Him.

Jesus knows the pain that lives in our bodies. He welcomed the one who came weeping and washed His feet with tears, and He understands the ache and exhaustion you feel. He is the one who says, come to me and I will give you rest, and you will find rest for your soul. That rest includes forgiveness and peace with God, and it also brings a quietness to a tired heart.

I am praying for you that God will touch your feet and bring down the swelling and ease the pain, that He will give your body the good restorative rest you need, and that He will renew your strength. I am praying for safety as you travel, that the Lord will keep you and those with you on the road. And I am praying for wisdom and favor as you deal with the dealership, that the issue with the car would be handled honestly and fairly and without added stress, and that God would provide what you need.

May the Lord help you to let go of the striving for a little while and to enter into His rest by faith, trusting that He is caring for you even now, and may He lift this weariness and give you peace.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord, praying for healing for your swollen and hurting feet, for relief from your exhaustion, for strength for all that you have to do, for good rest to be restored to you, for safety on the road, and for the Lord's help and favor as you deal with the dealership regarding the car issue. We pray the Lord will touch your body and bring healing, as He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3, and that He will grant you rest as promised in Matt 11:28, and keep you in all your going out and coming in in Psalm 121:8.
