🇺🇸Favor & Wisdom Godly Leaders in Authority, Acts7:10, 🙌 Praise God for Some Movement, 🙏 Resolve All by End of Month, Preventing Shutdown... 🇺🇸 Guide Leaders in Authority (Like Joseph with The Many Colored Tunic) Acts7:10 🙏 Resolution BEFORE Congress gets "out for recess." 🙏 Father thank You for 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4, "for ALL people," Presidents, VPs, SECs, SCOTUS, Reps, Senators, Gov -- "All in Authority," and we offer "prayers, petitions, thanksgivings and intercession" before Your Throne of Grace on their behalf, so "that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity, which is good and acceptable in Your sight, for You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. We ask for WISDOM and PROTECTION of our leaders from spirits of darkness with ANGELS OF HEAVEN, Ps 91:5-6, Ps 91:7, Ps 91:15-16, Heb 1:14, Rev 20:2.

🙏 Grant Loyal agents and bodyguards like David's Mighty Men, 2 Sam 23:23, and give them angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11 and heavenly intelligence as a gift to know what's coming before it occurs and circumvent it successfully and accordingly illuminate them, expose them, illuminate them (Like Elisha could hear the whispers of The King of Assyria's plans from the king's bedroom remotely at Elisha's Home [without electronic devices, btw]), 2 Kings 6:12.

🤺 We submit to You, obey Scripture, and RESIST THE DEVIL over our leaders... Both James 4:7 and 1 Peter 5:9 say RESIST HIM and RESIST HIM FIRMLY... So does Paul say to Receive Your Armor and STAND FIRMLY AGAINST everything he and his forces of wickedness in the skies above stand for, Eph 6:10-20...

🙏 Grant "words of wisdom" and "words of knowledge," 1 Cor 12:8. Give "Champions of God" favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, Give favor and wisdom like The Person in Genesis who had The Multi-colored Tunic in Governmental Dealings, Acts 7:10, wisdom like Daniel and the boys, Dan 1:20. Wisdom from above, James 3:17, wisdom which the cannot be contradicted or refuted, Luke 21:15... Jesus, You understand -- You dodged their devices and their daggers, You knew Your wrestling bout was not against human flesh and blood, Luke 22:52-53 -- AGAIN we Stand, struggle, wrestle, resist, stand, stand against, resist the chiefs, authorities and INVISIBLE forces of the ruler of this world's darkness, and spirits of evil in the skies above" Eph 6:10-14... Praying for everyone all the time with all types of prayer... Eph 6:18-20. We do this in Jesus' Name...

🙏 Help select those included above and everyone in Government including The Military, prom the lowest ranking private to the highest Generals, CHiefs of Staff and Commander in Chief -- everyone with responsibility in guiding and protecting the country including the aforementioned "Public Servants" (May they remember their titles)... With thanksgiving we offer these petitions, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of intercession for our leaders, recognizing that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. We lift up those in authority, presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, Supreme Court justices, representatives, senators, governors, and all who hold positions of influence, asking for Your divine wisdom and favor to rest upon them. As 1 Timothy 2:1-4 instructs, we offer prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings on their behalf, that they may govern in a way that allows us to live peaceful and godly lives, and that through their leadership, many may come to the knowledge of the truth.

Father, we thank You for the movement You have already begun in these matters and ask that You bring full resolution before Congress recesses. Just as You granted Joseph favor and wisdom in the courts of Pharaoh (Acts 7:10), we pray You would raise up leaders who walk in Your discernment and integrity. Grant them the spirit of Daniel, who stood firm in his faith and was found ten times wiser than all the wise men of Babylon (Daniel 1:20). May they be surrounded by loyal advisors and bodyguards, like David’s mighty men (2 Samuel 23:23), and may Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 91:10-11).

We recognize the spiritual battle raging around our leaders and stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20). We resist the devil and his schemes, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for heavenly intelligence to expose and thwart every plan of the enemy, just as Elisha heard the whispers of the king of Assyria (2 Kings 6:12). Grant our leaders words of wisdom and knowledge (1 Corinthians 12:8) that cannot be refuted (Luke 21:15), and let Your favor be a shield around them (Psalm 5:12).

Lord, we pray for those in the military, from the lowest-ranking private to the highest generals, that You would guide their decisions and protect them from harm. May they remember their calling as public servants and lead with humility and courage. We submit these petitions with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6-7), trusting that You hear us and will act on behalf of Your people.

We declare that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, authorities, and powers of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). May Your will be done in our nation, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We’ve been carrying this same burden with you, praying for our leaders, asking God to give them wisdom and guard them from harm, and longing to see things resolved in a way that allows the nation to function peacefully. Thank you for inviting us to stand with you in this, and for modeling such persistent, scripture-soaked intercession. It’s clear you love the people God has placed in authority, even when the process feels stuck or the stakes feel high.

One thing that encourages us when the timeline feels urgent is remembering that God is not caught off guard by congressional calendars or looming deadlines. He is able to move hearts, open doors, and grant solutions that no one saw coming. We can pour out our requests, and you have, and then rest, not because the outcome is guaranteed, but because the One we’re talking to is faithful and good. He doesn’t need a recess schedule to act.

As you continue to pray, you might also consider writing a brief note of thanks or encouragement to a specific leader or their staff, something simple, letting them know you are praying for wisdom and peace. That is a small, concrete way to extend the grace you are already asking God to pour out on them, and it often lifts the person behind the office.

Let’s pray:

Father, we lift up all who serve in authority, presidents, legislators, judges, military leaders, and ask You to surround them with heaven’s protection and clear wisdom. For the matters pressing on Congress right now, we ask You to break through whatever confusion, pride, or unseen opposition would cause harm. Grant calm, prudent, and timely resolution, and in the outcome, give our leaders courage to do what is right and just. Guard their minds and bodies, frustrate plans of darkness, and let Your purposes stand. In all things, we trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a holy and blessed employment you have taken up, pleading at the throne for those in authority! It is no small thing to lay hold of the covenant promises and urge them with such scriptural precision, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. You have struck a note that delights the heart of God when you intercede for all people, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.

I see in your cry a holy resolve, a determination not to let the reins of supplication drop. You have set your face Zion-ward, and you will go in the strength of the Lord God. That is the very marrow of prevailing prayer: not the fitful wish, but the steadfast purpose. “Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple,” cried Jonah from the deeps, and so must we, even when the floods threaten and the weeds are wrapped about our heads. Heaven’s wisdom is not given to doubters who halt between two opinions, but to those who, like Jacob, wrestle until the breaking of the day and declare, “I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Bind that resolution upon your heart and tie it about your neck.

You crave wisdom and favor for our leaders, and you do well, for wisdom is the principal thing. In every station, from the scullery maid to the senator, we need that wisdom which cometh from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated. The cunning of the serpent will not suffice; we must have the harmlessness of the dove. The world’s philosophy puffs up, but the wisdom that is from above builds up. And what a mercy it is that this wisdom is to be had for the asking, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not. Oh, that our rulers might possess the wisdom of Joseph in Pharaoh’s court, of Daniel among the Chaldeans, wisdom that cannot be gainsaid nor resisted! This is the promised portion of the praying church.

You speak of resisting the devil, and you speak well. The rulers of the darkness of this world are not to be trifled with. We must put on the whole armour of God, and having done all, to stand. And remember, the battle is not ours, but God’s. He that taketh the big hammer of His omnipotence and bringeth it down upon the anvil of His wisdom, so that worlds fly like sparks, He will not fail to shield His own. He shall give His angels charge over them, to keep them in all their ways. The adversary may plot in the king’s bedchamber, but He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision.

Yet, dear soul, let your confidence rest not in horses or chariots, not in the arm of flesh, nor in the multiplied prayers of the saints as though they were a charm. Our hope is in the name of the Lord our God. He delighteth to show mercy, and He flies upon the wings of the wind to display His favour toward His chosen. Look again, and keep looking, to the holy temple of His presence, where Jesus ever liveth to make intercession. His blood speaks better things than that of Abel, and His wisdom is the surety that all covenant promises are yea and amen.

Walk, then, in this firm resolve, and let not the Godly Fear which is the beginning of wisdom slip from your grasp. He that feareth the Lord has a strong confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge. The Lord grant you that favour which is as a shield, and cause the light of His countenance to shine upon the path of all those in authority, that this land may yet be quiet and peaceable, and the gospel have free course and be glorified.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many words and many names of power, and this is good, for we are commanded to offer prayers for all in authority. But I hear in your rush a hunger to see God move swiftly, to see the righteous triumph before the summer recess, to see the enemy confounded and the land at peace. This longing is not wrong, yet let me remind you of the way God’s wisdom often works, slowly, in the crucible of affliction, turning even the malice of men into the fulfillment of his promise. You have called to mind Joseph, who was sold by his own brothers, and you rightly ask that God grant favor and wisdom to our leaders as he did to Joseph in the sight of Pharaoh. But remember the years that passed before that favor came: the pit, the false accusation, the prison. God was with him in all those afflictions, and delivered him out of them, not immediately, but in his own time, that his word might be fulfilled and his purposes made plain. So do not let the calendar of Congress become a measure of your faith. The heavens do not bow to legislative breaks.

You ask for angelic protection and heavenly intelligence, like Elisha hearing the king’s whispers in his bedroom. This is a holy desire, but beware: the wisdom of God is a wisdom hidden from the rulers of this age. The wisdom that seems powerful in worldly halls, the cunning of advisors, the strategies of the mighty, is coming to nothing. God’s wisdom is found among the perfect, the mature, those who tremble at his word and are meek and lowly of heart. If you would cover our leaders with a shield of favor, pray first that they themselves be clothed with humility. For on whom does the Lord look? On the humble and contrite, the one who trembles at his word. That is the golden altar from which true sacrifice rises. Without this, all the armor and all the mighty men of David avail nothing.

You speak of resisting the devil, and you do well. Stand firm, yes, but do not imagine that the victory will always appear as a swift legislative triumph. The cross seemed like defeat until the third day. The enemy was bound not by a show of earthly strength, but by the seeming foolishness of a crucified King. When you intercede, do not dictate to God the how and the when. Entrust these leaders, all of them, from the lowest private to the commander in chief, to the God who let his own people suffer bondage for four hundred years and yet judged their oppressors and brought them out with a mighty hand. Your wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against invisible forces. Therefore, your weapons are not carnal. Petition, yes; but also give thanks in everything, and let your heart be more set on the salvation of all people than on the passing of any bill. For God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Let that desire shape your prayers more than any political outcome.

Finally, look again at Joseph. When his brothers stood before him, he held them in his power; he could have taken revenge. But he wept. He saw beyond their treachery the hidden hand of God: “You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.” Do you see how even the envying of the patriarchs could not thwart the promise? So it is now. Pray with tears, not with clenched fists. Desire favor and wisdom for our leaders, but desire even more that they learn the wisdom from above: pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy. That is the wisdom no adversary can contradict. That is the shield that cannot fail.

Your prayers for those in authority show a heart that longs for true wisdom, not mere human strategy. Scripture makes it clear that wisdom is the principal thing, more precious than any wealth or position. But the wisdom that truly protects and guides a nation does not spring from the corridors of power alone, it comes from above. In Jesus Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and the fear of the Lord is where that wisdom begins. When we intercede for leaders to receive what you have called “words of wisdom” and “words of knowledge,” we are asking God to give them something the world cannot manufacture.

You have set your prayers on a firm foundation, recalling how Joseph, Daniel, and Elisha operated with a wisdom that saw beyond the natural. That same Spirit of wisdom and revelation is available today. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and open to reason. It does not breed anxiety or confusion but brings clarity and sound judgment. As you resist the enemy and stand firm in your intercession, remember that the world’s wisdom often comes to nothing, its schemes collapse under the weight of God’s purposes. But the one who finds true wisdom finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.

God’s desire, as you have noted, is for all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. That includes those who sit in seats of authority. When they govern with godly wisdom, it opens the way for peaceful and dignified lives. So continue to ask, watch, and give thanks. The God who gave Solomon more than he requested is able to grant our leaders uncommon insight, to shield them from hidden dangers, and to bring resolution even before a time of recess. He is not limited by human deadlines or political deadlock. In the end, wisdom will prove to be a stronger defense than any human stratagem, for it carries the life and favor that only God can give.
