Guide Leaders in Authority (Like Joseph with The Many Colored Tunic before Pharaoh) Acts7:10 Resolution BEFORE Congress gets "out for recess." Father thank You for 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4, "for ALL people," Presidents, VPs, SECs, SCOTUS, Reps, Senators, Gov -- "All in Authority," and we offer "prayers, petitions, thanksgivings and intercession" before Your Throne of Grace on their behalf, so "that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity, which is good and acceptable in Your sight, for You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. We ask for WISDOM and PROTECTION of our leaders from spirits of darkness with ANGELS OF HEAVEN, Ps 91:5-6, Ps 91:7, Ps 91:15-16, Heb 1:14, Rev 20:2.

Grant Loyal agents and bodyguards like David's Mighty Men, 2 Sam 23:23, and give them angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11 and heavenly intelligence as a gift to know what's coming before it occurs and circumvent it successfully and accordingly illuminate them, expose them, illuminate them (Like Elisha could hear the whispers of The King of Assyria's plans from the king's bedroom remotely at Elisha's Home [without electronic devices, btw]), 2 Kings 6:12.

We submit to You, obey Scripture, and RESIST THE DEVIL over our leaders... Both James 4:7 and 1 Peter 5:9 say RESIST HIM and RESIST HIM FIRMLY... So does Paul say to Receive Your Armor and STAND FIRMLY AGAINST everything he and his forces of wickedness in the skies above stand for, Eph 6:10-20...

Grant "words of wisdom" and "words of knowledge," 1 Cor 12:8. Give "Champions of God" favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, Give favor and wisdom like The Person in Genesis who had The Multi-colored Tunic in Governmental Dealings, Acts 7:10, wisdom like Daniel and the boys, Dan 1:20. Wisdom from above, James 3:17, wisdom which the cannot be contradicted or refuted, Luke 21:15... Jesus, You understand -- You dodged their devices and their daggers, You knew Your wrestling bout was not against human flesh and blood, Luke 22:52-53 -- AGAIN we Stand, struggle, wrestle, resist, stand, stand against, resist the chiefs, authorities and INVISIBLE forces of the ruler of this world's darkness, and spirits of evil in the skies above" Eph 6:10-14... Praying for everyone all the time with all types of prayer... Eph 6:18-20. We do this in Jesus' Name...

We stand together in fervent prayer, lifting up our leaders in authority, presidents, vice presidents, senators, representatives, judges, governors, military commanders, and all who hold positions of influence. We recognize the weight of their responsibility and the spiritual battles they face, often unseen. The Word of God instructs us clearly in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth."

Father, we ask for Your divine wisdom to rest upon these leaders, just as You granted Joseph favor and wisdom before Pharaoh (Acts 7:10) and Daniel discernment before kings (Daniel 1:20). Let them walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and may their decisions reflect Your righteousness and justice. Clothe them with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so they may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We resist the devil on their behalf, declaring that he must flee (James 4:7), and we bind every spirit of deception, division, and destruction that seeks to hinder Your purposes.

Lord, surround them with loyal and godly advisors, like David’s mighty men (2 Samuel 23:23), and assign Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Grant them supernatural discernment to perceive threats before they arise, as Elisha did (2 Kings 6:12), and let Your light expose every hidden plot of darkness. We pray for unity among them, that they may seek Your will above political agendas, and that their hearts would be softened to hear Your voice.

We also lift up the men and women of our military, from the newest recruit to the highest-ranking officers. Strengthen them with courage, integrity, and a deep sense of duty to protect and serve. Shield them from harm, both physical and spiritual, and let them walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they be a force for righteousness, reflecting Your justice and mercy in every action.

Father, we thank You for the movement You have already begun, and we trust You to bring resolution before Congress recesses. Let Your favor be a shield around our leaders (Psalm 5:12), and may they experience the wisdom that comes from above, pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the gap, interceding for them with all types of prayer (Ephesians 6:18).

Above all, we pray for their salvation if they do not yet know You. You desire all to come to the knowledge of the truth, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). May their hearts be opened to the gospel, and may they surrender their lives to You, the only true King.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to the Father. May Your will be done in our nation, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We noticed that the most personal thread running through your words is the plea for resolution before the summer congressional break, for God to move so that something is settled while there is still time. That specific longing feels like the heartbeat of your cry. So alongside you, we are lifting that timeframe to the Lord, trusting that He is not bound by human calendars yet cares deeply about the burdens His people bring before Him.

A practical encouragement: as you continue, you might choose a brief, fixed moment each day when you hold that particular request, resolution before the break, before God in stillness rather than in many words. Sometimes the simplest offering of the heart, “Father, we need Your hand in this before they recess,” can steady the soul and keep hope fresh.

May the peace of Christ guard your mind as you wait, and may you sense His presence reminding you that He remains sovereign over every chamber and every heart.

We pray: Father, we lift these leaders before Your throne. Grant them wisdom like Joseph in the courts of power, and give them favor that opens doors no adversary can shut. Protect them from all spiritual darkness and from every scheme designed to sow confusion. We ask that before the summer recess, You would bring about the movement and resolution that honor Your purposes, that we may continue to live peaceful and godly lives. The prayer you have sent up to the mercy seat is woven through with the very cords of Scripture; it is a sweet savor unto the Lord. You plead for our rulers and for the swift resolution of matters before the summer’s recess, and you do so in the name of Him who ever liveth to intercede. This is well. A basket of summer fruit was set before Amos, a sign that the season was full and the end near.

So, too, do our times seem ripe, and we must press upon the throne with urgency. Yet remember, the Lord is not slack concerning His promise; He rests in His love and rejoices over His people with singing, even while He flies on the wings of the wind to display His favor. The wisdom you crave for those in authority is that true wisdom whose price is above rubies, it is to be found only in the way of the cross. Not by worldly craft, nor by the might of men, but by the Spirit of God shall our leaders be guided.

Put on the whole armor, stand firm, and resist the adversary, for the battle is not yours but God’s. The world is not to be saved by fine oratory or the cunning of statesmen, but by the power that is in Christ alone. Therefore, continue in supplication with all perseverance, expecting that the Sun of Righteousness will break forth and your boat, long frozen in the ice, shall be put out to sea and bring a blessed cargo of souls home. He who gave Joseph favor and wisdom before Pharaoh is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Trust in Him, and let your prayers be seasoned with thanksgiving, for He works in us mightily while we strive according to His working.

Your prayer aligns with the apostle’s command to intercede for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. Yet know that the wisdom you seek for them is not the wisdom of this age, which is passing away, but the hidden wisdom of God, which He ordained for our glory before the world began. The world’s rulers trust in rhetoric and stratagem, but the wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, full of mercy. It appears foolishness to those who rely on human cunning, yet it overcomes every contradiction and is the very power of God.

Such was the wisdom given to Joseph before Pharaoh, and to Daniel among the wise men of Babylon. They did not conquer by earthly cleverness but by the Spirit who searches the deep things of God. It is no different for the leaders you now lift before the throne. Ask that they receive not the flashy prudence that puffs up, but the lowliness of mind that is true philosophy. For the one who despises empty glory and knows both divine and human affairs is the one truly wise; all else is but gaudy trifles that bring sorrow when the mud of winter splashes or the dust of summer soils.

You put on the armor and stand against the wiles of the devil; that is well. But remember that the breastplate is righteousness, the shield is faith, and the sword is the word of God. These are not forged by human hands but by a life of virtue and continual prayer. The chiefs and authorities of this present darkness are not overcome by mere incantations, but by the spiritual wisdom that produces steadfast resistance. And as you resist, know that the church, though often afflicted, is an angelic assembly where earthly rank fades. Affliction itself can become a furnace to purify resolve.

God sends His angels as ministering spirits for the sake of the heirs of salvation. So pray with confidence, yet let your chief request be that these leaders themselves may be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. A champion of God is not known by a multicolored tunic but by a contrite heart that acts justly and loves mercy. Beseech that they remember their title as public servants, and that they receive the divine intelligence which hears the whisper of the enemy before the sword is drawn, not through device but through the gift of the Spirit.

Yet above all, let this resolution be made before any earthly recess: that all, from the lowest private to the highest officer, may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. This is the greatest wisdom, and the end for which we pray. Continue, then, with thanksgiving in everything, and stand firm with the belt of truth buckled about you. The Lord, who eluded Satan’s daggers by the wisdom that could not be refuted, will Himself grant the victory.

The wisdom that descends from above is pure, peaceable, and fruitful. It is the wisdom found in Christ, in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are stored. When you pray for our leaders to have “words of wisdom” and “words of knowledge” as the Spirit grants, you are asking for them to operate not from human calculation but from God’s own mind. That kind of wisdom can discern the whispers of the enemy before they become a shout; it can navigate dangers that no security briefing could foresee.

Tell God you want His wisdom for them, not the world’s cleverness. Because wisdom is the principal thing, better than rubies, more protective than money. Money is a defense in its own way, but wisdom gives life to those who have it. It preserves and guards. It exposes evil and knows how to depart from it. When you stand firm in your prayers, resisting the devil and taking up the armor, you are fighting for that very wisdom to take root in halls of government. The forces you wrestle against are not flesh and blood, but spiritual darkness. So it is right to ask that angelic protection and heavenly intelligence be given, that the God who sees all plans from the king’s bedroom would illuminate and expose hidden plots. He can grant a wisdom that confounds the crafty and cannot be contradicted.

Keep offering those petitions with thanksgiving, exactly as you are doing. You are not just naming names; you are aligning with God’s heart, for He desires all people to come to the knowledge of the truth. The prayer for leaders to have favor like Joseph, wisdom like Daniel, and a shield of divine protection is a prayer for them to encounter the living God. That is the wisdom that leads to life and obtains favor from the Lord. So do not grow weary. Let your soul watch daily at the gates of wisdom, interceding with the confidence that the God who founded the earth by wisdom will generously give it to those who ask.
