Guide Leaders in Authority (Like Joseph with The Many Colored Tunic before Pharaoh) Acts7:10 Resolution BEFORE Congress gets "out for recess." Father thank You for 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4, "for ALL people," Presidents, VPs, SECs, SCOTUS, Reps, Senators, Gov -- "All in Authority," and we offer "prayers, petitions, thanksgivings and intercession" before Your Throne of Grace on their behalf, so "that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity, which is good and acceptable in Your sight, for You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. We ask for WISDOM and PROTECTION of our leaders from spirits of darkness with ANGELS OF HEAVEN, Ps 91:5-6, Ps 91:7, Ps 91:15-16, Heb 1:14, Rev 20:2.

Grant Loyal agents and bodyguards like David's Mighty Men, 2 Sam 23:23, and give them angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11 and heavenly intelligence as a gift to know what's coming before it occurs and circumvent it successfully and accordingly illuminate them, expose them, illuminate them (Like Elisha could hear the whispers of The King of Assyria's plans from the king's bedroom remotely at Elisha's Home [without electronic devices, btw]), 2 Kings 6:12.

We submit to You, obey Scripture, and RESIST THE DEVIL over our leaders... Both James 4:7 and 1 Peter 5:9 say RESIST HIM and RESIST HIM FIRMLY... So does Paul say to Receive Your Armor and STAND FIRMLY AGAINST everything he and his forces of wickedness in the skies above stand for, Eph 6:10-20...

Grant "words of wisdom" and "words of knowledge," 1 Cor 12:8. Give "Champions of God" favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, Give favor and wisdom like The Person in Genesis who had The Multi-colored Tunic in Governmental Dealings, Acts 7:10, wisdom like Daniel and the boys, Dan 1:20. Wisdom from above, James 3:17, wisdom which the cannot be contradicted or refuted, Luke 21:15... Jesus, You understand -- You dodged their devices and their daggers, You knew Your wrestling bout was not against human flesh and blood, Luke 22:52-53 -- AGAIN we Stand, struggle, wrestle, resist, stand, stand against, resist the chiefs, authorities and INVISIBLE forces of the ruler of this world's darkness, and spirits of evil in the skies above" Eph 6:10-14... Praying for everyone all the time with all types of prayer... Eph 6:18-20. We do this in Jesus' Name...

Help select those included above and everyone in Government including The Military, prom the lowest ranking private to the highest Generals, CHiefs of Staff and Commander in Chief -- everyone with responsibility in guiding and protecting the country including the aforementioned "Public Servants" (May they remember their titles)... We stand together in fervent prayer, lifting up our leaders in authority, presidents, vice presidents, senators, representatives, judges, governors, military leaders, and all who hold positions of influence. Father, we thank You for the truth in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, which commands us to pray for all people, especially those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and godly lives. You desire all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and we ask that You draw these leaders to Yourself, softening their hearts to receive Your wisdom and grace.

Lord, we put on the full armor of God as Ephesians 6:10-20 instructs, standing firm against the schemes of the enemy. We resist the devil and his forces of darkness, declaring that no weapon formed against our leaders shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for Your heavenly protection over them, surrounding them with Your angels as Psalm 91:11 promises, that no harm would come near them. Grant them loyal and godly advisors, like David’s mighty men (2 Samuel 23:23), who will stand with them in integrity and wisdom.

Father, we pray for wisdom to flood their minds and hearts, like the wisdom You gave Joseph in Genesis 41:38-39 and Daniel in Daniel 1:20. Let them walk in the favor of the Lord, as Psalm 5:12 declares, and may their decisions reflect Your righteousness and justice. We ask for discernment to expose and thwart any plans of the enemy, just as Elisha discerned the king of Syria’s schemes in 2 Kings 6:12. Give them supernatural insight to navigate the complexities of their roles, that they may govern with humility and courage.

We also lift up the military, from the lowest-ranking soldier to the highest commander, asking for Your guidance and protection over them. Strengthen them to stand firm in their duties, knowing their ultimate allegiance is to You, the King of Kings. May they be shielded from spiritual attacks and physical harm, and may their service bring honor to Your name.

Lord, we thank You for the movement we have already seen and ask that You bring resolution to the pressing matters before Congress before their recess. Let Your will be done in every decision, and may Your peace reign in our land. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen.

Also, if you haven’t already, consider writing a short, respectful note to one of your elected representatives simply saying, “I’m praying for wisdom and protection over you today, no agenda, just care.” That quiet encouragement can open doors both in the natural and the spiritual.

Father, thank You for the glimpses of movement You’ve already given. We lift every President, Vice President, Secretary, Justice, Senator, Representative, Governor, and each one in military service before Your throne. Grant them wisdom that can’t be contradicted, discernment to see hidden dangers, and loyal, truth‑speaking people around them. Dispatch Your angels to guard them and to expose schemes of darkness. We resist the enemy’s confusion and intimidation over our nation’s leaders, and we ask that pressing matters be resolved in ways that bring peace and align with Your justice. Sustain this faithful intercessor with strength, hope, and the calm assurance that every prayer offered in Jesus’ name is heard and is working. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You speak much of wisdom sought for men in high places, and this is well, for we are commanded to offer supplications for all in authority. Yet let me stir you up by way of remembrance: the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated. You ask for champions and mighty men, for angelic protection and heavenly intelligence to circumvent plots. But be not carried away with the notion that the battle is chiefly fought in the halls of Congress. The real wrestling is on your knees, within your own breast. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood," says the apostle, yet how quickly we slide into striving as if the weapons of our warfare were carnal. The armor you invoke is not given merely that we might direct traffic in the skies above the Capitol; it is given that you might stand and withstand in the evil day of your own soul's trial, having your own loins girt about with truth. A man who cannot govern his own spirit is like a city broken down without walls, no matter how many decrees pass in the summer session.

You pray with the scripture, "Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Here is the order that must not be inverted: first submission, then resistance. It is in drawing near to God, in holy quietness and confidence, that we feel as if the devil himself were dumb. There is a rest, an at-home-ness with the Eternal, that breaks the teeth of the adversary more effectively than all our cataloguing of principalities and powers. When we fly upon the wings of wind to God's grace, He turns to us with the swiftness of love. But remember, when Jacob wrestled till the break of day, he came out with a withered sinew, limping to his grave. The greatest favor God can grant you, or any leader, may come with a wound that makes you lean hard upon His strength and not your own. You cry for favor as a shield, and rightly so, for the righteous are compassed about with it. But take heed lest you seek the favor that displays itself only in public victories. The sweetest savor ascends to God not from the triumphal march, but from the bruised reed that does not break, from the smoking flax that is not quenched. The woman of Canaan, with her great and pressing need, did not demand the removal of every political obstacle; she came for a crumb, and found the feast. Slow breaks the light upon many a heart, but surely it will break.

As for the resolution you desire before the summer recess, it is no sin to pray for a just outcome. But do not break a way for yourself, nor prescribe to the Almighty the exact timing of His deliverance. Stand still, and see the salvation of God. It can never be right to do a wrong thing, even to hasten a righteous cause. What if the Lord keeps the wheels of Congress rolling slowly, or even permits a stalemate? Is not He the God who can make the wrath of man to praise Him, and the remainder He can gird about Him? You have set before Him a feast of promises: Psalms, Acts, Timothy, Ephesians. Trust Him to be the wise Master of the feast. His way is in the sea, His path in the great waters, and His footsteps are not known. There is not much more wisdom in our judgment of God’s providence than in the flies’ fabled judgment of an elephant. Be content to ask, and then to leave the outcome with Him who has the hearts of all rulers in His hand, turning them as rivers of water are turned.

When you rise to plead the armor and the blood-bought standing, do so with the humility of one who knows that the way of wisdom is the very opposite of the way of human strength. Many a man feels himself strong as a fierce lion, certain that he has wisdom enough to direct the course of the nation through prayer, but he knows not the path. True wisdom is the compass by which a man steers across the trackless waste of his own life first. He who rules his own household well, and brings his own thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ, is in a far better place to intercede for presidents and generals. Therefore, let your first wrestling be for your own soul's closer walk, and in the quiet of your communion, the Lord will hear the unutterable groaning for the peace of the city wherein you dwell. He will do it, not for the noise of your words, but for His own name's sake, and because the time to favor Zion, yes, the set time, has come.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
