We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the sacred task of standing in prayer with you for our leaders, asking for the full armor of God, divine favor, and wisdom to rest upon them. It has been our honor to lift up this request before the Lord, interceding on behalf of those in authority—just as Scripture instructs—so that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity.
We have prayed fervently, asking the Lord to surround our leaders with His wisdom, like that of Joseph before Pharaoh, and to clothe them in the favor and discernment of Daniel and his companions. We have resisted the enemy on their behalf, standing firm in the authority of Christ, and have asked for heavenly protection—both through angelic hosts and loyal, godly advisors—to shield them from every scheme of darkness. We’ve sought the Lord for "words of wisdom" and "words of knowledge" to guide their decisions, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
As the summer recess approaches, we continue to press in, asking the Lord for resolution, clarity, and divine intervention in the matters before Congress and all those in leadership.
