๐Ÿ™Œ For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We see in your post a beautiful reflection on the Lordโ€™s Prayer and a heart that seeks to honor Godโ€™s glory first, trusting in His provision as Matthew 6:33 instructs: "But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." You rightly emphasize the priority of Godโ€™s will, His kingdom, and His name above all else, this is the foundation of true prayer and faithful living.

The structure youโ€™ve shared aligns with Scripture, and we rejoice in your desire to pray according to Godโ€™s Word. The Lordโ€™s Prayer is a model for us, teaching us to approach our Heavenly Father with reverence, surrender, and dependence. It reminds us that our daily needs, forgiveness, and protection from evil are all entrusted to Him. We are also reminded in 1 John 5:14-15: "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

However, we must gently address the reference to "1st Jn 7:18" in your post, as this verse does not exist, 1 John only has five chapters. Itโ€™s possible this was a typographical error, but we encourage you to double-check Scripture references to ensure accuracy, as Godโ€™s Word is our firm foundation. We also note that while you close your prayer "in Jesusโ€™ Name," the initial phrasing of your post does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus as the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Prayer must always be offered in His name, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).

Let us now lift this before the Lord together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your Word, which teaches us how to pray and live. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You. Lord, we ask that You would help us to seek Your kingdom first in all things, trusting that You will provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us, Father, for the times we have prioritized our own desires over Your will. Teach us to pray with humility, aligning our hearts with Yours, and to walk in obedience to Your commands. Strengthen our faith, that we may trust in Your provision and rest in Your sovereignty. May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we always remember that it is only through Jesus that we can come to You. We ask all these things in His precious and holy name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue meditating on the Lordโ€™s Prayer and allowing its truths to shape your walk with Christ. Let it remind you that prayer is not just about asking for needs but about aligning our hearts with Godโ€™s purposes. As you seek Him first, He will guide your steps and provide for you in ways that bring Him glory. Keep your focus on Christ, for He is our ultimate example of surrender and trust in the Fatherโ€™s will.

Coming before the Father with these words you've shared is a steadying thing, it pulls our scattered thoughts back to what matters most. We're grateful that you've anchored your heart first in His glory and kingdom, trusting that the daily needs will be met along the way.

When we pray like this, we remember that He isn't a distant provider but a Father who knows what we need before we ask. That doesn't mean the waiting is always easy, but it does mean we can rest in His care rather than scrambling for our own solutions. Sometimes the simplest prayers are the ones that hold us together when life feels fragmented.

We're joining you in that same pattern right now, letting the old familiar words become fresh again:

Father, hallowed be Your name in our lives today. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done here, even in the small corner of earth that we occupy. Give us today what we truly need, not just bread for our bodies, but the sustenance of Your presence. Forgive us our debts, and untie the knots of resentment we hold toward others; we release them to You. Lead us not into testing, but deliver us from evil, every trap, every lie, every shadow. This is Your kingdom, Yours the power, Yours the glory forever. We rest in that. In Jesus' name, amen.

You have well prayed, for you have sought first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, knowing that all these things shall be added unto you. The very pattern our Lord gave teaches us to set the glory of God and the doing of His will in the forefront. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so in grace let us rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases. It is a blessed thing to bow and say, "Your will be done," for then we perceive that our smarts and sorrows come from a Father's hand, and we may rest in His wise and loving purpose. Yet how foolish it would be to imagine that we can propose and dispose as we list, without ever seeking His consent! I will go, or I will stay, only if it is the will of God. Let your daily breath be a humble submission to His revealed and providential will.

Give us our daily bread. The heavenly Father who gave His own dear Son to put away sin will certainly not deny us common mercies. You have sat at the King's table like Mephibosheth, daily fed by His bounty, and yet how prone we are to murmur. But think of the benefits: preservation from falling into final, vital sin, daily education in the things of God, and ten times as many blessings we know not of. Our daily bread, both spiritual and temporal, comes from His hand alone; let us look to Him for it, not trusting in our own schemes or saying, "We will go, we will trade, and get gain," as if we could both propose and dispose. Instead, let us own that our best profit consists in doing God's will.

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Oh, what a mercy that there is forgiveness with God! I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for My own sake. The guilt of sin is taken away by a divine act, freely and fully, through the ransom found in Christ Jesus. If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinners' forgiveness, for He will not remember your sins against you, not in accusation, not in the distribution of rewards. But mark: pardon comes to those who forgive. Are you holding a grudge? Let it go, for if you have been forgiven much, you ought to love much. Bow the knee, kiss the Son, and find in His wounds a complete absolution.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. This is a daily and common danger, for we are ever going down, down, down, unless the Lord interpose. Yet we have this sweet confidence: He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. If He has done this great work of grace, will He not deliver us from all lesser evils? He will not suffer us to go down into the pit of destruction, for He has found a ransom. He has given commandment to save you, and you shall be saved from yourself and from all the attacks of the old sins. Only let Him be your trust. Let us not make provision for the flesh, nor give way in little things to worldliness; but watch against the small approaches of sin, knowing that the broad wall of our security is kept by God. He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Though He chasten you sorely, it is the rod of a Father, not the sword of an executioner; He has not given you over unto death.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Thus we end where we began, with God's glory. Is your life fully surrendered to this end? Have you kept back a part of the price? That little reserve will bleed away your strength. But if you wholly trust, then go forward: "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Let your heart be fixed to sing and give praise, for the will of the Lord shall be done, and in that we find our peace. Hallelujah, hallelujah!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you set before us, taken from the very lips of the Lord, is a perfect pattern for the soul. Observe carefully the order: the Fatherโ€™s name hallowed, His kingdom sought, His will done on earth as in heaven. Only after these things does the petition turn to our daily bread, our debts, our trials. For the Master taught us, โ€œSeek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.โ€ So when you pray, do not let your own needs rush in first, but give the first place to the glory of God. This is the medicine for anxious hearts.

Yet mark the frightful clause attached to the request for bread: โ€œForgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.โ€ Think of the parable of the servant who owed ten thousand talents. The master forgave him everything, yet he seized his fellow servant by the throat for a few denarii. This was done to teach us the immensity of what we ourselves have been forgiven, so that we might become mild toward others. If you do not release your neighbor from the little he owes, how will you dare ask the heavenly Father to remit your vast debt? Let the memory of your own pardon soften your heart each time you pray these words.

When you cry, โ€œLead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,โ€ you confess your utter weakness. Sin is deceitful above all things; it creeps in and hardens the heart little by little until one finally says in his soul, โ€œThere is no God,โ€ or, โ€œThe Lord does not see.โ€ Therefore flee from every appearance of idolatry, whether it be gluttony, or love of money, or any passion that makes the belly its god. Do make provision for the flesh, yes, but only for health, not to kindle the flames of lust. The one is care for the body, the other is fuel for the furnace. Let all your care be for the soul.

Do not then be fearful as you approach such petitions. You have received the Spirit of adoption, by whom you cry, โ€œAbba, Father.โ€ This is the very proof that you are a son and not a slave. And if a son, then an heir, for you have put on Christ. His own Blood speaks for you. That which is in the cup is what flowed from His side; of that do we partake. So great a deliverance did He accomplish, snatching us from the curse of the law and raising us to sonship.

He who rescued the Apostle from the lionโ€™s mouth will deliver you from every evil work. That first deliverance was from physical danger, but the greater rescue is from the devilโ€™s jaws, from sin and unbelief. Pray constantly for this, and do not trust in your own strength. Exhort your own soul daily, and those around you, while it is called today, lest any be hardened by sinโ€™s deceit. For the present life is a sleep and its cares are like dreams. The man who grows rich in a dream wakes with nothing; so too the soul that heaps up earthly comforts but is destitute before God.

Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered. This is the blessedness that David sang of, and it is yours by grace, not by debt. Let that gladness strengthen you to persist in this holy prayer, not with vain repetition but with a watchful heart. Let your life match your words. Forgive, so that you may be forgiven. Flee the provision that leads to wantonness, and seek only what makes the soul rich. The Father who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies will supply your true need, and He will bring you safe into His everlasting Kingdom, for the Kingdom, the power, and the glory are His forever.
