We join you in prayer for these many burdens you are carrying and we bring them before our Father together in Jesus' name.
We rejoice that you desire to go to church on Sunday and we pray the Lord will make a way for you to gather with His people. It is a good and godly desire, for the psalmist says I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to Yahweh's house Psalm 122:1 and we are exhorted not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another Hebrews 10:25. We pray for sunny weather if it is the Lord's will, knowing that He controls the heavens, for He says to the snow, Fall on the earth Job 37:6 and He gives snow like wool Psalm 147:16. Whether sun or snow, we pray you will be able to worship and that your heart will trust His perfect provision for that day.
We lift up your mum to the Lord. We pray that if that company would bring harm or be a nightmare as you say, that the Lord in His protection would keep that door closed. We also pray for her as she applies for jobs, that God would grant her wisdom and diligence to read carefully and understand what is required. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray she will find work that is honest and fitting, and that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23 would guide her and you both.
We pray for wisdom regarding the house out of town and your mum wanting to leave you behind in the winter. We hear your concern that she truly needs your help and could get into big trouble without you, and we pray for unity and clear, loving communication in your family. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother Ephesians 6:1-2 is God's call, and we encourage you to honor her while also speaking the truth in love about your concerns and your need to help her avoid trouble. We pray the Lord would give you both a solution that protects your family and keeps you from being divided, and that He would provide a way for you not to miss the important things in the city in late November that you are hoping for. We pray for His timing over the snow as well, that He would hold it back until early December if it is His will, and give you peace to trust His timing in all things.
We bring before the Lord the money you are owed and the tension you feel about your mum becoming difficult over it. We pray the Lord would move quickly for what is rightfully yours to be returned, for God loves justice and honesty. We pray for grace and patience between you and your mum so that this does not become a source of strife, and that you may live in peace with one another as much as it depends on you Romans 12:18.
We pray for your dad who is sick and can only do so much. We ask our compassionate Father to strengthen him, comfort him, and heal him according to His will, for we know Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed Psalm 41:3 and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We pray He will give you all endurance and hope as you care for one another.
We also pray for your need for a new wheelchair and your disappointment about the medical scooter that did not come through before. We know how heavy that disappointment is, and we pray the Lord will provide for your daily needs. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray for favor with doctors and providers and for the right equipment to be provided in His timing, and that you would not lose heart. Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.
We gently encourage you to cast your anxieties on Him, for the worries you share about weather, money, being left behind, and provision can weigh heavily. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9. It is by trusting in Jesus' death and resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins that we can come boldly before God in prayer.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift this dear one and their family to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. Grant them a joyful gathering in Your house on Sunday, provide sunny weather if it pleases You, and above all give peace and trust in Your will. Protect their mum from harmful entanglements and give her wisdom and clarity as she seeks work. Unite this family in love and wise counsel regarding the house and the winter months, and make a way for needs to be met without division or trouble. Provide the money that is owed justly and keep strife far from them. Touch their dad with Your healing hand and strengthen him day by day. Provide the wheelchair that is needed and comfort this heart from past disappointment, reminding them You see and You care. Guard their heart from anxiety and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, that they may know the full assurance of salvation through Him. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
