Beloved of All
Hope to go to church on Sunday and it’s sunny. Hope ###, a company my mum ### only had one class with never comes back to her, as it’s a nightmare. My mum is applying for jobs, but doesn’t often read things well enough, as some apps for these jobs are a nightmare. A long story, short, my family has a house out of town that we go to at times; my mum wants to leave me behind in the winter, but with things she needs my help badly, and if I’m not there, she may get into big trouble for them. I don’t want to miss somethings this late November before they get sold out, in the city I’m in now, and hope I don’t miss them. Hope it doesn’t snow until early December. I hope to get the money I am owed, very soon, but hope my mum doesn’t get difficult with it. My dad ### is sick and can only do so much. I hope to get a new wheelchair soon, I doubt I’ll get a new medical scooter, by how things went, when I thought, I was going to get one but didn’t.

We join you in prayer for these many burdens you are carrying and we bring them before our Father together in Jesus' name.

We rejoice that you desire to go to church on Sunday and we pray the Lord will make a way for you to gather with His people. It is a good and godly desire, for the psalmist says I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to Yahweh's house Psalm 122:1 and we are exhorted not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another Hebrews 10:25. We pray for sunny weather if it is the Lord's will, knowing that He controls the heavens, for He says to the snow, Fall on the earth Job 37:6 and He gives snow like wool Psalm 147:16. Whether sun or snow, we pray you will be able to worship and that your heart will trust His perfect provision for that day.

We lift up your mum to the Lord. We pray that if that company would bring harm or be a nightmare as you say, that the Lord in His protection would keep that door closed. We also pray for her as she applies for jobs, that God would grant her wisdom and diligence to read carefully and understand what is required. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray she will find work that is honest and fitting, and that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23 would guide her and you both.

We pray for wisdom regarding the house out of town and your mum wanting to leave you behind in the winter. We hear your concern that she truly needs your help and could get into big trouble without you, and we pray for unity and clear, loving communication in your family. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother Ephesians 6:1-2 is God's call, and we encourage you to honor her while also speaking the truth in love about your concerns and your need to help her avoid trouble. We pray the Lord would give you both a solution that protects your family and keeps you from being divided, and that He would provide a way for you not to miss the important things in the city in late November that you are hoping for. We pray for His timing over the snow as well, that He would hold it back until early December if it is His will, and give you peace to trust His timing in all things.

We bring before the Lord the money you are owed and the tension you feel about your mum becoming difficult over it. We pray the Lord would move quickly for what is rightfully yours to be returned, for God loves justice and honesty. We pray for grace and patience between you and your mum so that this does not become a source of strife, and that you may live in peace with one another as much as it depends on you Romans 12:18.

We pray for your dad who is sick and can only do so much. We ask our compassionate Father to strengthen him, comfort him, and heal him according to His will, for we know Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed Psalm 41:3 and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We pray He will give you all endurance and hope as you care for one another.

We also pray for your need for a new wheelchair and your disappointment about the medical scooter that did not come through before. We know how heavy that disappointment is, and we pray the Lord will provide for your daily needs. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray for favor with doctors and providers and for the right equipment to be provided in His timing, and that you would not lose heart. Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.

We gently encourage you to cast your anxieties on Him, for the worries you share about weather, money, being left behind, and provision can weigh heavily. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9. It is by trusting in Jesus' death and resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins that we can come boldly before God in prayer.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift this dear one and their family to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. Grant them a joyful gathering in Your house on Sunday, provide sunny weather if it pleases You, and above all give peace and trust in Your will. Protect their mum from harmful entanglements and give her wisdom and clarity as she seeks work. Unite this family in love and wise counsel regarding the house and the winter months, and make a way for needs to be met without division or trouble. Provide the money that is owed justly and keep strife far from them. Touch their dad with Your healing hand and strengthen him day by day. Provide the wheelchair that is needed and comfort this heart from past disappointment, reminding them You see and You care. Guard their heart from anxiety and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, that they may know the full assurance of salvation through Him. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We hear how much you are carrying right now. Hoping for a sunny Sunday to get to church, worrying about that company coming back to your mum, watching her work through difficult job applications, thinking through the winter plan for the house out of town, not wanting to miss those November events in the city before they sell out, waiting for money you are owed, caring for your dad while he is sick, and hoping for a wheelchair that really meets your needs. That is a lot to hold at once.

It makes sense you feel pulled in two directions about winter. You want to stay in the city for the things that matter to you, and you also know your mum relies on your help and you worry she could get into trouble without you there. When many pressures pile up like this, everything can feel heavier and harder to sort through.

One gentle step that might help is to find a calm moment with your mum and dad to write down together what help would actually be needed at the house this winter and what you would need to stay safely in town. A short, clear list can make the choices less tangled and give you something concrete to talk through with anyone else who supports your family. For the wheelchair and the money you are waiting on, staying in touch with the clinic or office handling those things can keep you from carrying the questions alone.

Father, we lift this family to You. Give them wisdom for the winter decisions, provision for what is needed, and peace for this Sunday and the weeks ahead. Watch over dad's health and guide the next steps for the wheelchair. Lead them in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your many cares have been heard, and they are not small cares, for they touch the daily life of the family, the body, and the home. There is a burden in each of them, and the Word tells us that every man shall bear his own burden, and yet also to bear one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ. You feel this very keenly, that your mother has need of your help, that your father can only do so much in his sickness, and that you yourself have need of strength and provision for the body.

We are glad you hope to go to the house of the Lord on Sunday. The healing power was present when Christ was teaching, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Pray that the Lord will give you that favored hour, whether the sun shines or not, and that you may hear attentively and retentively, so that the Word may abide in you. The least thing about Christ is healing, even as the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and His fruit and His leaves alike have virtue to restore the soul. Go seeking not only fair weather, but the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings.

We will pray for your mother. That troubling company that has been a nightmare to her, we ask the Lord in His providence to keep at a distance if it be His will, and to give her wisdom and carefulness as she reads and applies for work. Many applications are indeed a burden, but diligence and a quiet spirit in reading what is set before her will be a kindness to her and to you. Pray for her, and help her as you are able, with patience and grace.

Concerning the house out of town and the winter months, this is a matter for much prayer and honest and gentle counsel together as a family. You desire not to be left behind, and you rightly perceive that your mother may have great need of your help and could come into trouble without it. At the same time you have hopes not to miss what is in the city in late November. Seek the Lord for wisdom to speak the truth in love at home, to honour your parents, and to make plans early and plainly, so that no one is taken by surprise. Commit the weather to Him also. Whether snow comes early or late is in His hand, and we may ask for what seems best to us, yet always saying, Thy will be done.

Your need regarding money owed, and the fear that it may bring difficulty with your mother, we bring to Him who knows our temporal wants. He who pardons sin also cares for our daily bread. Ask Him to provide what is due in His time, and to give you and your mother a gentle and understanding spirit toward one another when you speak of it.

We remember your father in his sickness. The Lord binds up the brokenhearted and heals those who are bowed down. There is healing and forgiveness placed in happy conjunction in Christ, and when the Lord dwells with His people they find pardon and healing from His hand. We pray that the Great Physician will lay His hand upon your father, give him relief and strength according to His mercy, and sustain him and you day by day.

For your own body and your hope for a new wheelchair, and the disappointment about the medical scooter, we pray the Lord will provide what you truly need. He knows what it is to bear infirmity, and He took her by the hand and lifted her up. Cast your burden upon Him, for He will bear it. Christ says, My yoke is easy and My burden is light. The burden of life is heavy, but His yoke and His burden are not so. Come to Him and learn of Him, and you shall find rest, even while you wait for earthly helps and instruments of mercy.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who hast shown us in Christ both pardon and healing, look upon this family. Grant grace to attend Thy house and to hear Thy Word with profit. Give wisdom to this mother in seeking work, and keep from her what would harm her. Give to this dear one and to parents counsel and love in ordering the winter and the home, that they may help one another and not be divided. Provide what is owed and keep peace in the household concerning it. Lay Thy hand of mercy upon the sick father and comfort him. Provide for bodily need, for the wheelchair and all needful help, and above all give a heart to trust Christ who alone is salvation, who bore our sins and carries our sorrows. Make Thy yoke easy and Thy burden light to this soul, and cause even the leaves of the Tree of Life to bring healing. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
