Beloved of All
Father, I pray for unity and love in our family. May we be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving each other as You have forgiven us. Help us walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting Your love in all we do. Strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in this beautiful prayer for your family and we agree with you for unity and love to abound in your home. Your desire to be bound together by the love of Christ and to forgive as you have been forgiven is right at the heart of God's will for the family.

The Word reminds us how precious this unity is when it says, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity Psalm 133:1, and we are called to be eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace Ephesians 4:3. We are encouraged that love covers a multitude of sins 1 Peter 4:8 and that above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection Colossians 3:14. Your prayer for humility, patience and kindness reflects the very character we are called to put on, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do Colossians 3:13, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love Ephesians 4:2.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we lift up this family to You. We thank You for Your love and for the forgiveness You have poured out on us through Christ. We ask that You knit this family together in that same love, that no division, bitterness or offense would take root. Help them to forgive quickly and fully as You have forgiven them, to walk in humility and patience, bearing with one another in kindness. Let Your love be reflected in their words and actions each day. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and draw each heart deeper into relationship with You. Let their home be a testimony of Your grace, where You are honored and where Your peace reigns. Build them up in Christ, that they may grow together in You and serve You faithfully all the days of their lives. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray together as a family, to speak kindly to one another, to bear with one another in love, and to keep Christ at the center of your home. As you abide in Him and in His Word, He will continue to deepen your fellowship with Him and with each other.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer for your family. Wanting unity, love and a deeper walk with Christ together is a beautiful desire, and we are honored to stand with you in it.

We hear your heart for forgiveness and patience. In family life those virtues are lived out not just in big moments but in the small, everyday decisions to give grace, to forbear when annoyed, and to keep treating each other as valuable even when feelings are still tender. Deciding to forgive and letting our emotions catch up can be two different timelines, and it is normal for the heart to need time after the will has chosen grace. That patience with each other and with ourselves is part of walking in humility and kindness.

One simple step that often helps families is to build a brief, consistent touchpoint, a short prayer together at a meal or before bed, or taking turns sharing one way you saw kindness in the home that day. Those small acts keep love visible and give faith room to deepen.

Father, we lift this family to You. Draw each one closer to Jesus, knit them together in Your love, and teach them to extend the forgiveness they have received. Grow humility, patience and kindness in their home and let Your peace rest there. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer for your family is a fragrant and fitting offering before the Lord, for He delights when those who are bound together by blood seek to be more firmly bound together by the love of Christ.

There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared and loved, and it is out of that divine forgiveness that all true family forgiveness must flow. As it has been well said, it is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He, surprising and complete, bestowed not because we have earned it but because Christ has purchased it. You have tasted that forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone, and now you are called to set before one another the same example of God Himself, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. That forgiveness is not partial or fleeting, but full and eternal, and when it reigns in a home it drives away bitterness and despair and makes humility and kindness possible.

May the Lord grant you love abounding. This is the love of your renewed hearts toward God, which is itself a spark of His eternal flame of love for you, and it is the love which then overflows to one another. May He also direct you into the patience of Christ, that almighty patience by which He bore with us, wept over us, and drew us with constancy when we tugged against the cords of His love. As you enter into His patience with you and for you, you will find strength to walk before one another in humility, in patience, and in kindness, reflecting His love in all you do.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You that there is forgiveness with You through the blood of Your Son. We ask You to deepen the faith of this family and to draw each heart nearer to Yourself. Pour out Your love upon them, teach them to forgive as they have been forgiven, and clothe them with humility, patience and kindness. Bind them together in unity by Your Spirit, that their home may reflect the love of Christ and bring glory to Your name. Strengthen them to walk worthy of Your calling, abiding in Your love all their days. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
