Family

We hear your cry for strength in the battles your family is facing, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The battles you face are not merely physical or emotional but spiritual, and we must approach them with the full armor of God.

First, let us rebuke any fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be creeping into your hearts. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also encourage you to examine your family’s walk with the Lord. Are there areas where sin has taken root, allowing the enemy a foothold? James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Confess any known sin, seek forgiveness, and turn away from anything that dishonors God. If there are divisions, unforgiveness, or unrepentant hearts within your family, these can weaken your spiritual defenses. We pray for unity, love, and a renewed commitment to God’s Word and His ways.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a family in need of Your strength and protection. Lord, You are our fortress, our deliverer, and our shield. We ask that You would surround this family with Your angels, guarding them from the attacks of the enemy. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in Your truth. Where there is weakness, fill them with Your power. Where there is fear, replace it with Your perfect love. Where there is division, bring healing and reconciliation.

Father, we ask that You would expose any areas of sin or compromise in their lives. Give them the courage to repent and turn away from anything that displeases You. Renew their minds with Your Word and fill their hearts with Your peace. Help them to walk in obedience to Your commands, knowing that Your ways are higher than their ways.

Lord, we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We speak life, victory, and breakthrough over their lives. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are fighting for them.

We pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy. Equip them with the full armor of God so that they may stand against the wiles of the devil. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, unshaken by the storms of life.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You. May they seek Your face daily, delighting in Your presence and finding their strength in You. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to remain steadfast in prayer. The battles you face are not yours alone, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Continue to seek Him, trust in His Word, and walk in obedience. Victory is yours through Christ Jesus!

We hear you, life’s battles, especially the ones that hit our families, can drain every ounce of strength we have. It’s brave to bring that need before God, and we’re joining you in asking Him for the very strength you and your family need right now.

Strength in the middle of hard things often looks different than we expect. It’s rarely a sudden burst of power that makes every obstacle vanish. More often, it’s the quiet grace to keep showing up, to love patiently when we’re exhausted, or to hold on to hope when the outcome is unclear. Sometimes God supplies that strength by surrounding us with others who can stand with us, pray with us, or just be present. If there’s a specific battle you’re facing, a particular relationship strain, a medical concern, a spiritual attack, consider naming it with a few trusted friends or your church family, so they can support you in practical and prayerful ways. You don’t have to carry it alone.

We’re also mindful that God often uses the very strengths He’s already placed within us, gifts of wisdom, patience, or perseverance, to carry us through. Even when you feel weak, those gifts haven’t vanished; they’re often most visible when you’re depending on Him.

Let’s pray together now: Father, we lift up this family to You. You see every battle they’re fighting, the known ones and the hidden ones. Supply the strength only You can give. Steady their hearts when they’re weary, give them wisdom for each step, and surround them with Your peace and tangible support. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is well that you have turned your eyes to the Strong One, for all strength of every sort comes from God. You are weakness itself, but if you are united to the Divine strength, you shall be infinitely strong. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind or sort, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it, and rejoice that if God has said, "they shall," then assuredly you will!

For all the battles which shall disturb us between here and Heaven, our strength is found in God, Himself, and we may sweetly sing, "Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation." There is no limit set in the text. From the measureless fountain shall you draw strength which all eternity will not exhaust. Therefore, to those who have no might, He increases strength. This is not a strength that lies in your own arm, for the glory of our strength must never lie in any of these things, it must lie in God alone.

He will not stop the ordinary run of business, nor alter the way in which the world goes on, and yet He knows how to help the poor, and to bring up the righteous from deep distress. You have prayed; now wait upon the Lord. Them that have no might, He increases strength. The impetuous character of the Prophet’s cry shows that the Divine visitation is the one thing needed. He will come and rend the heavens for your help. Trust your soul in His hands and He will redeem you out of the jaw of the lion, yes, out of the very mouth of Hell! He Himself took our sicknesses and our infirmities by championing our cause and standing in our place to fight our battles.

The battles you speak of are not unseen by God, and He does not abandon His soldiers. But know that the strength you seek comes not to those who merely wait, but to those who, having resolved in their own will, then cry out for help from above. For as no one can do any good thing without that help, so neither will help descend unless we first contribute our own share. The Canaanite woman, full of shame yet pressing forward with shamelessness, did not say “Entreat and beseech,” but “Help me.” So let your prayer be bold and simple, not adorned with many words, but with a heart aflame.

Yet consider what battles you fight. If they are quarrels and divisions among yourselves, then the enemy has already breached the gate. A house divided cannot stand; a city torn by civil war perishes more quickly than one assaulted from without. “Brother aided by brother becomes a fortified city.” This is friendship, not the eating and drinking that robbers share, but the care that hinders one another from slipping toward hell. Seek peace, therefore, with all urgency. The more your own flesh or kin war against you, the greater the reward if you remain peaceful. “With the haters of peace I was peaceful,” says the prophet, and nothing so delights God as to remember no evil. For God is not a God of war and fighting.

Do not neglect the weapon of almsgiving, for it gives strength to every medicine of the soul. Water quenches a flaming fire, and alms do away with great sins. This is no small help in the day of conflict.

And never imagine that the darkness surrounding you is too thick for the Light. Christ’s preaching shone in the midst of prevailing error, and He, by enduring death, overcame death itself. The strength you ask for is this: His own life working in you, as you stand firm and refuse to let wrath or despair shoulder you into the pit. Lift up the fallen, bind up the divided, and you will find that the very battles you dread become the ground where God’s strength is perfected.

God gives strength to His people, and He will give it to your family in the battles you now face. You have not asked for something uncertain; the Lord delights to be the strength of those who call on Him. Do not look for a secret reserve inside yourself. That kind of strength runs out, and the day of adversity will find it small. Blessed is the person who has learned his own weakness and put his trust in the Lord, because His power is made perfect in weakness.

When fear rises, do what David did. Bring the problem to God, cast the burden on Him, and say from the heart, When I am afraid, I will trust in God. Prayer is not a last resort; it is the place where the child of God receives strength and confidence. Let the promises of Scripture be your stay. Keep the Word in your heart, because it becomes strength in the hour of trial and changes defeat into victory.

The secret of real strength is a life separated to God, relying on Him rather than on your own wits or resources. As a family, make Him your shelter and strong tower. He turns the valley of weeping into a well and leads His people from strength to strength. May the Lord keep His hand on your family, give you His peace, and sustain you until the day Jesus reigns forever.
