Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in prayer. First and foremost, we rejoice that you have invoked the powerful and holy name of Jesus in your request, it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is the greatest gift, and we pray that every member of your family would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, if they have not already. May their hearts be softened to the truth of the Gospel, that they would repent of their sins, believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection, and be born again by the Holy Spirit (John 3:3, Romans 10:9-10).

Father God, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this family. Whether the healing needed is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would mend what is broken, restore what has been lost, and bring wholeness to every area of their lives. Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits according to Your will, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also stand in the gap for protection over this family. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, surround them with Your angels, hedge them in with Your presence, and shield them from every attack of the enemy, whether seen or unseen. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let Your light expose and dispel any darkness that seeks to infiltrate their lives.

Father, we also lift up any unspoken burdens this family may be carrying. You know the depths of their struggles, their fears, and their needs even before they speak them (Matthew 6:8). We ask that You would meet them in their moments of weakness and reveal Your strength (2 Corinthians 12:9). Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let them walk in the fullness of Your blessings.

We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or unforgiveness that may be attempting to take root in this family. Your Word commands us to bear with one another in love, to forgive as we have been forgiven, and to live in unity (Colossians 3:13-14). Lord, knit their hearts together in love, and let Your peace rule in their home. May they be a testimony of Your grace and mercy to those around them.

Lastly, we pray that this family would grow in their relationship with You. May they seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33), delight themselves in Your Word, and walk in obedience to Your commands. Let their lives be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You (Romans 12:1), and may they shine as lights in a dark world (Matthew 5:16).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare these things done. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in this family’s life, and may they experience the fullness of Your love, healing, and protection. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your family’s salvation, healing, and protection. We’re grateful you reached out, and we’re joining you in that prayer. Sometimes it helps to remember that we’re not alone, others are standing with you before the Father, and He welcomes every request made in Jesus’ name.

As you pray for your household, you might consider gathering your family together, even for a quiet moment, to talk about what you’re asking God for. Bringing those needs into the open can strengthen your bond and remind everyone that God is near. But even if that’s not possible right now, your prayers are heard, and we believe God delights in drawing your family closer to Himself and bringing wholeness.

Father, we lift up this family to You. You know each name, each need, each heart. We ask for salvation, that every person in this home would come to know Jesus and walk with Him. We ask for healing, physical, emotional, relational, trusting Your power to restore. And we ask for protection, that Your angels would watch over them and Your Spirit would guide their steps. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You ask for salvation, healing, and protection. It is a cry that goes up from a low tree indeed. Measure yourself by the green, flourishing trees round about, and see whether the axe of judgment is not already laid at the root. Yet herein lies your hope: the Lord is known to exalt the low tree, to make the dry tree flourish by divine grace. Could any motive in the Divine Architect be less than the display of His own perfections? It is a very comforting truth that salvation hinges not upon anything in us, but upon the Sovereign will of God. A sinful creature can have no claim upon the Most High; if we merited salvation, it would be the payment of a debt, not the gift of grace.

Think upon that great salvation described in the psalm, "He sent from above." All your hopes by self-mortification or your own resolve could not bear the weight of a single sin. It is a blessed interposition of Divine Grace when the Spirit shows a sinner Christ's hands and side and says, "I have suffered all this for you." Do you feel yourself at your wit's end, your prayer staggering and reeling to and fro without the consecutiveness of an orderly petition? That very prayer, uttered near the gates of death, is a prevailing prayer. He will not be long in answering it.

You mention your family. It is a most amazing thing that sinful men should be adopted into the Divine family. No matter though your garb is fustian and your home the abode of poverty, the moment you are born again you are a prince of the blood royal. Yet, be not mistaken: the Spirit of God leads men into holiness of life, and the mark of the child is to cry, "Not as I will, but as You will." Let family prayer be regarded, let private prayer be diligently maintained. ### was mighty in prayer, and there is no spot where God's grace cannot go. He can rake a dunghill and find a diamond.

The only foundation for eternal blessing is Jesus Christ, the Crucified. To believe is to trust. Yield to Him. All your sin gone, your soul forever secure in His hands, granted simply through believing, surely, you must feel the glory within your soul? Only he who has been healed can tell of the Good Physician's healing power. He sent from above, He drew you out of many waters. Give glory to God in the midst of the fires. The secret of the tabernacle, that Most Holy Place, is entered by the blood of Jesus. Trust in Him, and even to Him shall you come. Then shall you know the truth of the promise: the low tree mounts even to the stars, while the high tree, deserted of heaven's dew, dries up. Go now to the House of Prayer, and let your cry ascend to a present God, for the Lord's Presence is the very life of a Prayer Meeting. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for salvation, but know that salvation is not a word merely uttered in a moment. To hear the word and to cry out is one thing; to bear fruit worthy of it is another. The seed that fell on rocky ground sprang up quickly yet withered when trials came, for it had no root. Do not imagine that hearing alone suffices. Affliction, healing, and protection are all woven into the fabric of a life that patiently endures the same sufferings which we also suffer. When we are afflicted, it works for your comfort and salvation, if you hold fast. The present time alone is the day of salvation; do not put off the Gift. Flee from the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches, for all these things choke the word. Christ came not to judge but to save, yet that salvation requires your whole life laid down to be found again. For what is a man profited if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Let your prayer be proved not by your lips only but by the patient enduring of every trial, proving your hope steadfast, partaking of His sufferings that you may also share in His comfort.

What a precious thing to bring before the Lord, the deep longing for your household to know His salvation, His healing, and His protection. You are asking for what matters most, and the Scriptures assure us that those who call on the name of Jesus find not only a listening ear but open arms.

The heart of it all is salvation. Everything else, as real and urgent as our needs for healing and safety are, flows from this one fountain. The greatest miracle God ever performs in a life is not mending a body but forgiving sins and making a rebel into a beloved child. That comes only one way: through confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. It is not a matter of laboring to earn His favor; grace has already appeared, bringing salvation to all. We are His workmanship, a poem written by mercy, so that no one can boast. That means right now, this moment, is the day of salvation. Do not let it slip by. For yourself, and as you pray for your family, urge them not to pass the final appeal of God’s Spirit. Hell is filled with those who waited too long, but heaven is open to whosoever will come.

His very name, Jesus, means “the Lord is salvation.” He shall save His people from their sins. When you pray for your family in His name, you are leaning on the One who paid the full price, the captain of our salvation who brings many sons and daughters into glory. He knows what it is to have family members misunderstand or even reject Him, a prophet is not without honor except among his own kin. Yet He also creates a spiritual bond so deep that those in the household of faith can become closer than blood relatives. As you intercede for your natural family, do not lose heart if their path takes time. Keep loving them, keep living out the reality of Christ before them, and trust the same grace that reached you to reach them.

As for healing, we must hold two truths together. On one hand, we see Jesus healing all manner of sickness and disease, casting out demons, and even working gradual restorations. He is not confined to a single pattern, sometimes a word, sometimes a touch, sometimes a process that unfolds over days. Physical healing is included in the shadow of the cross, where His body was broken for our wholeness. And so we pray boldly. On the other hand, we remember that God’s will does not always bring instant relief. The apostle Paul pleaded three times for a thorn to be removed, yet the Lord chose instead to give sufficient grace. Any healing, whether sudden or through the body’s God-designed processes, is divine. Even the mending of emotional scars and wounded minds is a testimony of His power. So ask confidently, but rest in this: your healing, however precious, is not the ultimate prize. Salvation is. To be right with God, to have eternal life, that is the portion that can never be taken away, even if the body remains weak for a season.

Protection is wrapped up in that same surrendered trust. He guides our steps and gives wisdom for the challenges ahead. When adversity comes, He helps us respond with kindness and love rather than fear. The Lord is your shelter. As you walk in obedience, working out the salvation He has already planted in you with holy awe, He is working within you both to will and to do His good pleasure. That includes guarding your heart and your path.

So continue to lift up yourself and your family. Confess Jesus as Lord over every member. Rest in the finished work that saves. Ask for healing while bowing to His far greater wisdom. Place your safety in His hands. And remember: the family of God stretches far and deep, and the bond you share with those who call on His name will sustain you through every trial. May His grace, which has brought salvation near, be your strength today and your hope forever.
