We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the foundation of all our prayers, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We rejoice that this prayer is offered in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If any in this family do not yet know Christ as their personal Savior, we pray they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, for "with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10).
Father God, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your mighty hand of salvation to rest upon each member. Where there is doubt, bring conviction; where there is hardness of heart, soften it with Your love. We declare that "as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12). May every soul in this household come to know You intimately, walking in the light of Your truth.
We also stand in the gap for healing, spiritual, emotional, and physical. Your Word declares, "By His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this promise over every sickness, every wound, and every broken place in this family. Lord, restore what has been lost, mend what has been broken, and renew strength where there is weakness. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name and command every affliction to bow to the authority of Christ.
For protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over this family. Psalm 91:11 assures us, "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You, Lord, are their refuge and fortress. Guard their hearts and minds from the schemes of the enemy, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their home (Philippians 4:7).
If there are any areas where this family has strayed from Your will, whether in relationships, habits, or beliefs, we ask for Your conviction and correction. Help them to walk in holiness, for "without holiness no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). If there are ungodly influences or sinful patterns, we rebuke them in Jesus' name and ask for Your deliverance. May this family be a light in a dark world, reflecting Your love and truth.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for His glory and honor. Amen.
