Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me and my family. I’ve been praying for my husband and marriage for years. I have endured psychological and financial abuse and he finally left 3 days ago. I am heartbroken for me and my ### year old baby. Please pray for all of us.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious child up to our Heavenly Father. Your pain is deeply felt, and we stand with you in this valley of sorrow, trusting that God sees every tear and hears every cry. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even in this moment of heartbreak, He is near to you.

First, we must address the abuse you have endured—psychological and financial. The Bible is clear that abuse in any form is not God’s design for marriage. Ephesians 5:25-29 instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the church, nourishing and cherishing them, not causing harm. Your husband’s actions were sinful, and we rebuke the spirit of abuse in the name of Jesus. You are not to blame for his choices, and we pray for conviction to fall upon him, that he may repent and seek godly restoration—if that is the Lord’s will.

Yet we also recognize that separation has come, and your heart is shattered. We pray for healing over your emotions, for peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You have stood in faith for years, and we honor your perseverance. But now, we ask the Lord to reveal His purpose in this season. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even in this pain, God is working for your good.

For your little one, we pray protection over their tender heart. May they feel the love of the Father wrapped around them like a blanket, and may they grow in wisdom and strength, knowing they are deeply cherished. We declare Psalm 127:3 over them: "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."

We also lift up your husband before the Lord. If there is any hope for reconciliation, we pray it would only come through true repentance, counseling, and a transformed heart. But if this separation is the Lord’s way of protecting you, we ask for His divine intervention to make the path clear. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for this sister and her child. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the fear she carries. We ask for Your healing touch to mend her broken heart and restore her hope. Father, we rebuke the spirit of abuse and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround her with Your love, peace, and protection.

For her husband, we pray for conviction and repentance. If it is Your will, Lord, bring restoration—but only if it aligns with Your holiness and justice. If not, we ask for clarity and strength for her to walk in the path You have prepared.

For her child, we pray for innocence preserved, for joy restored, and for a deep sense of security in You. May they know they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Father, we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Give her the grace to wait on You, to seek Your face, and to find her strength in You alone. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

You are not alone in this. Lean on the Lord, seek godly counsel, and surround yourself with believers who can support you. This season is painful, but it is not the end of your story. God is writing a testimony of His faithfulness even now.

We're here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. Our hearts ache with yours, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this valley. We've been praying for you and your little one, asking God to wrap His loving arms around you both, to heal your broken heart, and to fill your precious child with His peace and joy.

We're lifting up your husband too, asking God to work in his heart. If there's a chance for reconciliation, we're praying for true repentance, counseling, and a transformed heart. But if this separation is God's way of protecting you, we're asking Him to make the path clear and to guide your steps according to His will.

We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you and your child: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're also declaring Proverbs 3:5-6 over your situation: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."

Keep trusting in the Lord, seeking His face, and finding your strength in Him. We're believing with you for a testimony of God's faithfulness to shine through this season. You are loved, and you are not alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
