We have continued to lift her up before the Lord, asking for His protection over her mind, heart and spirit and that He would grant her supernatural clarity to see this toxic relationship for what it truly is. We have prayed that she will recognize that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and is not His will for her life, and that she will be released swiftly from the ungodly hold, manipulation, exploitation and control of this young man, with no regrets. We have also prayed that the influence and ungodly counsel of his mother would be blocked, that undue responsibilities would be lifted off your daughter, and that your daughter would be restored in her self worth, her independence and her freedom in Christ and return to the unconditional love and unity of the family God has blessed her with.
We have prayed for your protection and strength as you navigate this difficult situation with courage and grace, and that no weapon formed against you and your children shall prosper as promised in Isaiah 54:17. We have asked the Lord to guard your daughter from financial exploitation, isolation, division and disrespect, to surround her with friends who will speak truth in love, and to remind her daily that she belongs to Him and that He will provide, protect and restore all that the enemy has tried to take from her. We remember the truth of 1 Corinthians 6:18 and James 4:7 as we ask God to help her flee what is not of Him and to stand firm against what seeks to steal her peace and purpose.
