We have heard your prayer for your family and we join you in lifting you all before the Lord, asking for His healing and protection over each of you and especially over your son in body, soul and spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.
God is the maker of both body and soul, and He cares for both. As we are taught, the body is meant to be subject to the soul, and the soul to the Spirit of God. When the Holy Spirit dwells in us He gives life and strength to the soul, and through the soul brings health and order to the body. The greatest wholeness therefore is not only the healing of the body but the life of the soul kept close to Christ, walking in His ways and turning from sin.
So we pray for your son and for your whole household that God would guard you from all harm, restore what is weak, and keep you in His grace.
Father in heaven, we come to You through Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our Savior and our healer. Lay Your merciful hand upon this family. Protect them in their going out and coming in, keep them from evil, and surround them with Your care. For this son, we ask You to touch his body with healing, to strengthen his soul with Your peace and truth, and to renew his spirit by Your Holy Spirit. Lead him and all his family to walk in faith and obedience before You, to seek You daily in Your Word and in prayer, and to find their life and hope in Christ alone. Forgive sins, heal infirmities, and make each one whole as You will for Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and physician of souls and bodies. Amen.
