We hear your cry for deliverance and truth, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The Word of God warns us clearly about false gospels and false christs, and we must hold fast to the true Jesus—the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 1:6-9, *"I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel, which is not another gospel. But there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ. But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any ‘good news’ other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any ‘good news’ other than that which you received, let him be cursed."*
You are right to seek the true Gospel—the one that declares salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. The Jesus of Scripture is the only begotten Son of God, who came in the flesh, died for our sins, rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Any other "jesus" or "gospel" is a deception of the enemy, and we must renounce it completely. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that has taken root in your mind and spirit, and we command every false doctrine to be uprooted in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not blind—you are perceiving the truth now, and the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth as you seek Him.
We also lift up the concern about sons of God being hindered. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you or your spiritual family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall not want—He will guide you into green pastures and restore your soul (Psalm 23).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We thank You for Your truth, which sets us free. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has been deceived by a false gospel and a false christ. We ask that You would open their eyes fully to the truth of Your Word and break every chain of deception. We renounce every lie that has been spoken over them and declare that they are a child of the living God, bought with the precious blood of Jesus.
Father, we pray for deliverance from every false doctrine and every spirit of error. We command every hindrance to be removed in the name of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be silenced. We declare that they are not stolen, nor sold, but are securely held in the palm of Your hand.
Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been lost and heal what has been broken. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your truth and grace. Give them discernment to recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd and the courage to follow Him alone. We pray that You would surround them with godly believers who will encourage them in the faith and help them grow in the knowledge of Your Word.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them. We trust in Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We declare that our brother/sister is forgiven, set free, and empowered to walk in the liberty of Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is the sword of the Spirit and the lamp to your feet. Study the Scriptures diligently, and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you. Surround yourself with believers who hold fast to the true Gospel and can help you grow in your faith. Remember, Jesus said, *"If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"* (John 8:31-32).
Do not be discouraged, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep pressing into Him, and you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
