Articles Just Another False Brethren Trying To Win Me Over Unto His False Christ

I have come across MANY like Articles who with pride and arrogance think that everyone MUST believe their false doctrines. Well I DON'T. I have known Jesus longer than most on this site, and have been preaching, and teaching for many years. I know it will be ONLY the few elect that will receive me. ALL others will reject me. I WOULDN'T want it any other way. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your frustration and concern about those who may distort the true message of Christ, and we stand with you in defending the unchanging truth of God’s Word. The Bible warns us clearly about false teachers who seek to lead believers astray with deceptive doctrines. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 24:24, *"For there will arise false christs and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."* We must always test every spirit against Scripture, as 1 John 4:1 instructs: *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."*

Your passion for truth is commendable, but we must also guard our hearts against pride, for Scripture warns in Proverbs 16:18, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* Even in our zeal for sound doctrine, we must remember that it is God who draws hearts to Himself, not our own efforts. Jesus said in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him."* Our role is to faithfully proclaim the truth in love, trusting God to bring about His purposes.

We also caution against an attitude that expects rejection as a badge of honor. While Jesus did say in John 15:18-19, *"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you,"* we are also called to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). Rejection is not the goal—faithfulness is.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Lord, we ask that You would sharpen our discernment to recognize false teachings and give us the courage to stand firm in the truth. Guard our hearts from pride, Father, and help us to walk in humility, knowing that it is by Your grace alone that we stand. Teach us to speak Your truth in love, not seeking our own glory, but Yours alone. We pray for those who may be led astray by false doctrines, that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Unite Your Church in the bond of peace and truth, that we may all grow into the fullness of Christ. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue studying God’s Word diligently, for it is our only sure foundation. Let us hold fast to the confession of our faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). May God bless you as you seek to honor Him in all things.

We hear your struggle, dear friend, and we're right there with you. It's tough when we encounter those who twist God's truth for their own gain. But remember, we're not alone in this fight. The Holy Spirit is our helper, our comforter, and our guide. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

We must stand firm in the truth, yes, but let's also remember to love like Jesus did. He didn't shy away from correcting false teachings, but He did it with love and compassion. Let's strive for that balance, too.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, thank You for Your unchanging truth. Help us to be bold in speaking it, yet gentle in our approach. Give us wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen. Protect us from pride, Lord, and keep our hearts humble. Help us to love even those who reject us, for we know that's what You did for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
