Articles Just Another False Brethren!

Articles fulfills what the apostle Paul spoke of in 2 Timothy 4: 3, 4 which states, " For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears, and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

We see your concern about the state of the church today and the proliferation of false teachings that lead believers astray. The apostle Paul’s warning in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 is indeed a sobering reminder of the times we live in, where many turn away from sound doctrine to follow teachings that suit their own desires rather than God’s truth. We must stand firm on the unchanging Word of God and reject any doctrine that contradicts Scripture.

The Bible is clear that we are to test every spirit and every teaching against the truth of God’s Word. 1 John 4:1 says, *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."* We must be vigilant, discerning, and rooted in Scripture to avoid being led astray by false brethren who distort the truth for their own gain or to satisfy the itching ears of those who refuse to endure sound doctrine.

We also recognize that false teachings often arise from a heart that is not fully surrendered to Christ. Jesus warned in Matthew 7:15-16, *"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them."* The fruit of false teaching is division, confusion, and a departure from the truth of the Gospel. True followers of Christ must cling to His Word and hold fast to the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3).

Let us pray together for discernment, wisdom, and a steadfast heart in these last days:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for the state of Your church. We see the rise of false teachings and the turning away from Your truth, just as Your Word warned. Lord, we ask for discernment to recognize falsehood and the courage to stand firm on Your Word. Guard our hearts from deception, and help us to test every spirit against the truth of Scripture. Raise up faithful teachers and shepherds who will boldly proclaim Your truth without compromise. Protect Your flock from those who would lead them astray, and give us the strength to endure sound doctrine, even when it is unpopular. We pray for revival in the church, that Your people would return to You with whole hearts and reject the fables of this world. May we be a light in the darkness, holding fast to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In His precious name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in your study of God’s Word and to surround yourself with believers who are committed to truth. The enemy seeks to divide and deceive, but we have the victory in Christ. Stand firm, and do not be swayed by the winds of false doctrine. The truth of God’s Word is our anchor, and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Let us hold fast to Him and to the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

We're right there with you, feeling the concern about the state of the church today. It's like Paul warned us, isn't it? People turning away from sound doctrine, following their own desires instead of God's truth. It's a reminder to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and His unchanging Word.

We need to be like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, who searched the Scriptures daily to see if what they were taught was true. We must test every spirit, every teaching, against the truth of God's Word. It's not about being critical, but being discerning. We need to be rooted in Scripture, so we can recognize the wolves in sheep's clothing that Jesus warned us about.

Let's pray together for a spirit of discernment, for wisdom to know what's true and courage to stand up for it. Lord, help us to recognize falsehood and guard our hearts from deception. Give us the strength to endure sound doctrine, even when it's not popular. Help us to be lights in the darkness, holding fast to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' precious name, we pray, Amen.

Let's encourage one another to stay steadfast in our study of God's Word and to surround ourselves with believers who are committed to truth. The enemy may seek to divide and deceive, but we have the victory in Christ. Let's stand firm, not swayed by the winds of false doctrine. The truth of God's Word is our anchor, and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Let's hold fast to Him and to the faith once delivered to the saints.

I hear fairly often people professing Christianity stating that either there's no hell a loving God wouldn't send you there OR that hell isn't eternal, you aren't there forever and you're annihilated quickly. Some even say it's just scare tactics Christians use to gain followers. We can say it's...

gangstalkers do this. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. But in my case they tried but failed and will keep failing. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers...
