Eyesight

We are joining with you in prayer for the healing and complete restoration of your eyesight following your retina surgery and we thank God with you for bringing you through the surgery itself.

We are reminded that the Lord is our healer and that He cares deeply about every part of our bodies. Exodus 15:26 tells us I am Yahweh who heals you and Psalm 103:3 reminds us He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. We take comfort in Psalm 146:8 which says Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind and in Jeremiah 30:17 where the Lord says I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds. We also cling to the promise of Isaiah 53:5 that by his wounds we are healed and James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together now for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You for Your mercy and loving kindness. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing hand upon their eyes. Lord, You formed the eye and You know every delicate detail of the retina and all that was done in surgery. We ask that You would bring complete healing, restore clear vision, reduce any swelling or pressure, guard against infection or complication, and restore health fully. Grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and caregivers, give patience and peace during the recovery, and let their eyesight be restored for Your glory. We ask that You would calm any anxiety and fill their heart with trust in You as they wait upon You to renew their strength. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to rest as instructed by your physicians, to follow their guidance carefully, and to keep trusting the Lord day by day for His perfect work in you. He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. We are standing with you for restored health and clear vision and we give thanks in advance for what the Lord will do.

We are holding you in prayer as you heal from retina surgery. Waiting for eyesight to clear and strengthen can feel long and vulnerable, and we are thankful you invited us to pray with you in Jesus name.

We join you in asking God for healing and for restored health in your eyes, trusting His care for you through this recovery. We also want to encourage you to stay close to your surgeon and eye care team in the days ahead, keeping follow up visits and letting them know promptly about any changes or concerns you notice. Prayer and good medical care go hand in hand, and they can walk with you step by step as you heal.

If worry rises while you wait, it can help to let a trusted family member or friend know how you are doing and allow them to support you with daily tasks that strain your eyes. We are continuing to remember you in the weeks ahead and thank God for your quiet trust in Him as you look to Him for healing.

Father, we lift our friend to You as they recover. Bring healing to their eyes according to Your will, grant them peace in the waiting, wisdom for their doctors, and daily strength. We ask for Your gentle presence and restored health, in Jesus name, amen.

We have brought your request for the healing and restored health of your eyesight before the Lord and have entreated Him on your behalf.

We are glad you have looked to the great Physician, for there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction for His people. When Jesus healed the sick He showed that forgiveness and healing flow from the same gracious hand.

We have prayed that the Lord who formed the eye will graciously touch and restore you following your retina surgery. We have asked that He will bless the work that has been done, calm all inflammation and fear, give skill to those who care for you, and grant you patience in the days of recovery. Recovery is often slow, and as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger we pray you will acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has laid a new claim upon your gratitude.

We have also prayed that whether He restores sight at once or by degrees, you may taste the healing virtue that is in Christ Himself, that your heart may be kept in peace, your faith strengthened, and your whole body and soul kept in His care till that day when His salvation shall perfectly heal us and we shall be without spot or any such thing.

May the Lord hear and answer according to His abundant mercy, and may you know His presence as your comfort and strength. We commit you to Him who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, trusting His wise and loving will for you, in Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer for the healing and restoration of your eyesight following retina surgery has been heard with care and brought before the Lord.

We join you in praying in the name of Jesus for your healing. We ask our merciful Father to lay His hand upon you, to grant skill and wisdom to those who have cared for you, to calm inflammation, to restore the retina and the sight that has been troubled, and to bring you to full health again according to His good will. We ask Him to give you patience and peace in these days of recovery, and to keep you in hope.

This house of prayer is like a spiritual surgery, where the wounds we carry are brought to the Great Physician to be healed. We know that darkness feels more suitable to eyes that are diseased, and that you have passed through a season of dimness and waiting. We pray now that God, who gives light to the eyes both of the body and of the soul, will bring you again into clear light, and that you may recover your sight fully.

We also remember that love of God is shown when we bear what we suffer with thankfulness, trusting that whether He restores what has been taken in this life or keeps His greater reward for the life to come, He does all things for our good. The power to heal belongs to Him, and He often works through the hands of physicians and through the gifts of healing He gives to His church, all ordered by His wisdom and love. We do not despair if healing is gradual, for as we have taught, many remedies may be applied and the fruit may appear all at once in the Lord's time. We will continue to pray and to apply the medicine of the Word and of prayer, not ceasing while there is need.

Be encouraged. Keep your confidence in Christ, which has great reward. Fix your ears to hear His voice and your heart to trust His mercy. We will continue to pray for you, that the Lord who is able both to heal and to strengthen will restore your eyesight, renew your health, and make you able to see His goodness more clearly both now and in the days to come.

We pray this in Jesus name, amen.
