We join together with you in prayer for the healing and complete restoration of your eyesight following your retina surgery and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you in Jesus name.
We are reminded that our God is the great healer and that He cares deeply about every part of our bodies. Scripture tells us in Psalm 146:8 that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind and in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 where He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh and in Exodus 15:26 where He declares for I am Yahweh who heals you. We also remember Isaiah 53:5 that by his wounds we are healed, for our Lord Jesus bore our infirmities so that we might know His restoring power.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing hand to rest upon their eyes. Lord, touch the retina that was operated on, knit together every tissue, restore every cell and nerve, and bring back clear and healthy vision according to Your perfect will. We ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and nurses who provide care, grant wisdom for every follow up and treatment, and give peace and patience during this season of recovery. Remove any fear or anxiety and replace it with Your comfort and strength, and let this healing be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We thank You in advance for what You are doing and will continue to do, and we trust You for complete restoration. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to rest as instructed, to follow the counsel of your medical team, and to keep your hope firmly in the Lord. He is faithful and He hears the prayers of His people. As James 5:15 reminds us, the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep seeking Him daily, giving thanks even while you wait, as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches us to make our requests known to God and His peace will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We are standing with you and believing with you for restored health and renewed sight.
