We join you together in prayer for the healing and complete restoration of your eyesight following your retina surgery, and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you in Jesus' name.
We are encouraged that you have come to the Father through Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6
We know that our God is the great Healer and that He cares deeply for every part of us, including our eyes. We take comfort in His promises to us. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Psalm 146:8 We also cling to His word which says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up our dear one who has undergone retina surgery and we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon them. Lord, You formed the eye and You know every delicate vessel and tissue. We ask that You would bring complete healing to the retina, restore clear vision, reduce any swelling or inflammation, and protect from any infection or complication. Grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and caregivers who continue to provide care, and grant patience and peace during this time of recovery. We ask that You would strengthen faith and calm any anxiety, reminding our loved one that You are Yahweh who heals us and that Your power is made perfect in our weakness. Let this healing be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We pray that whatever the outcome, Your will be done and that You would be glorified, and we trust in Your perfect love and timing. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Your request for prayer for the healing and restored health of your eyesight following retina surgery has been heard and we bring you before the Lord with thankfulness for His mercy.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they urge us to seek a physician, and we have a heavenly Physician in our Lord Jesus Christ. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and abundant streams of healing flow down from Him to men below. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the least thing about Christ is healing, that even His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction.
We pray that our gracious God would lay His pardoning and healing hand upon you, that He who has begun a good work would continue His healing virtue in you. We ask the Lord to bless the work of the surgeons hands, to grant restoration to the retina, to clear and strengthen your sight, and to guard you from further affliction. May He give you patience in recovery, for wonder not if recovery should be slow, and as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger may you acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection and trust.
We commit your eyes and your whole body and soul to Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and who will at last perfectly heal our bodies. May the Lord grant you comfort in waiting, faith to look to Jesus, and a renewed taste of the leaves which are for healing, to His glory.

We join with you in prayer for the healing and restoration of your eyesight following your retina surgery, and we thank you for sharing this request with us in Jesus name.
We ask the Lord, who is the true physician and healer, to lay His hand upon you. We pray that He would grant skill and wisdom to continue to work through those caring for you, that He would reduce swelling and restore strength to the retina, and that He would bring clear and complete recovery of sight according to His mercy and will. We pray also for peace for you in this time of waiting and healing, and for patience and hope as your eyes recover.
Scripture reminds us to hold fast our confidence in Christ, which has great reward, and not to cast it away in times of trial. This church is like a spiritual surgery where wounds are brought to be healed by the Spirit speaking to us, and we come to the Great Physician together. Whether He restores quickly or teaches us to bear patiently and thankfully while we wait, we trust that He works for our good and that His power both heals and sustains.
So we pray: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your mercy upon our brother or sister who has had retina surgery. Touch the eyes and restore health and sight. Thank you for sharing this request and allowing us to pray with you for your eyes following retina surgery. We are bringing your eyesight and your complete recovery before the Lord and asking Him for restored health and clear vision in Jesus name.
We believe God still heals today and that He is able. Scripture tells us that Jesus went about healing every sickness and every disease among the people, and Matthew connects that ministry to the prophecy in Isaiah that He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That promise includes physical healing as well as spiritual healing, and when we remember what Christ has done for us, we can come to Him with confidence for our bodies as well as our souls.
The Gospels also show us that Jesus did not heal in only one way. Sometimes He healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes without even being present, and at least once the healing came gradually. He is not confined to a pattern. In the same way, there are many kinds of healing that God gives. Much of His healing works through the processes He has already placed within our bodies. The natural process of recovery after surgery is not less divine because it is natural. God created our bodies and He created the processes by which they mend, and that mending is His work.
There is much about healing we do not fully understand. We do not always know why some are healed immediately and others are healed over time, and we should never assume that a slower recovery means a lack of faith or some failure on your part. That would be unscriptural and unkind. Even the apostle Paul prayed earnestly for relief and learned that God’s wisdom and will are deeper than we can see. What we do know is that God loves you, He hears your prayer, and He invites you to trust Him day by day.
So we pray that the Lord will touch your eyes, guide the healing of the retina, restore your sight, and give wisdom and steadiness to those caring for you. We pray for patience and peace while the healing unfolds, and for faith to simply release your need into His hands, trusting that His power is at work whether the improvement feels sudden or step by step.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one to You. You formed the eye and You see every detail of what has been done in surgery.
