We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear one who has undergone retina surgery and seeks healing and restoration of eyesight. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our eyes and knows every detail of our bodies. We ask that You touch this beloved child of Yours with Your healing hand, restoring full vision and health to their eyes.
Your Word declares in Psalm 146:8, "Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:29, "According to your faith be it done to you." So we pray for an increase of faith, that this one may see Your healing power manifest in their life.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in during this time of recovery. We declare that this one shall not be defined by their circumstances but by the truth of Your Word. We pray for patience and peace as they wait on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect.
Lord, we also ask that You guide the hands of the medical professionals involved in their care. Give them wisdom and discernment as they continue to treat and monitor this situation. May every follow-up appointment bring good news and evidence of Your healing touch.
We pray for strength and comfort for this dear one, that they may feel Your presence surrounding them each day. Remind them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good.
