Disciple of Prayer
This coming Sunday morning, i am going to have a colonoscopy. Please pray for me, for good results, for life and healing over my colon. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! And thank you!

We are joining together with you in prayer for this coming Sunday morning and for your colonoscopy, asking for God's mercy, peace, and healing over you.
We understand how these medical tests can bring anxiety as we wait, but we take comfort that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and known intimately by our Creator, and that He is our healer and our refuge. We are thankful you have asked in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.
Scripture reminds us of His healing power and His presence with us in times of uncertainty. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And in Jer 30:17 He promises, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isa 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And we are encouraged not to carry this burden alone, as Phil 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one to You. We ask for Your hand to be upon them this Sunday morning, to grant them perfect peace before, during, and after the procedure, calming every fear and anxious thought. We pray for life and healing over their colon, that You would touch and restore every cell and tissue according to Your will. We pray for good results, that the report would be clear and show health and wholeness. We ask You to guide the physicians and medical staff, giving them wisdom, skill, and steady hands, and that every part of the procedure would go smoothly and safely without complication. We speak Your life and restoration over this body, trusting that You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. We thank You in advance for Your goodness and mercy, and we trust this situation into Your loving hands. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your request with us. We are joining you in prayer for this coming Sunday morning as you have your colonoscopy, asking the Lord for His gracious hand upon you, for good results, and for life and healing over your colon.
We pray that our heavenly Father will keep you in that perfect peace of which the prophet speaks, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. May your mind be stayed upon Christ in the waiting room and in the procedure itself, and may you know that His blood whispers peace within, even when duties press and anxieties would rise. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and let not anxiety unfit you for this hour, but tell your case to Jesus as you would tell it to a loving physician.
We ask the Lord, who is the true Physician of soul and body, to guide the hands of those who care for you, to grant skill and clarity in all that is seen and done, and to grant you a favorable report. We remember that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and His stripes are our healing. We pray that He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds will be very near to you, breathing into your soul that peace with God which passes all understanding, which flows from the forgiveness of sins through faith in His precious blood.
So we pray, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, lay Your hand of mercy upon our dear one now. Grant peace in place of fear, grant a safe and thorough procedure, grant good results and continued life and health according to Your will. Let Your presence be felt, and let Your perfect peace guard heart and mind. We thank You that whether in health or in trial, to do the will of Jesus is rest, and that earths struggles shall soon cease when Jesus calls us to Heavens perfect peace.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
