Exam prayer

We lift up your daughter in prayer as she prepares for her GCSE exams, asking the Lord to grant her peace, focus, and wisdom. Father, we know that all wisdom and understanding come from You, and we ask that You fill her mind with clarity and recall as she answers each question. Let her trust in Your strength rather than her own, for You have promised in Your Word, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5 WEB).

We pray that she would cast all her anxieties on You, Lord, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). May she find rest in the knowledge that her worth is not defined by her performance but by Your love for her. Help her to do her best, not out of fear or pressure, but with a heart that seeks to honor You in all she does.

We also encourage her to lean on You, the Author and Perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). Remind her that You are with her always, even in moments of stress or uncertainty. May she find comfort in Your presence and confidence in Your promises.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or distraction that may try to hinder her during this time. We declare that she is equipped with the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). May she walk into her exams with faith, knowing that You are her strength and her shield.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, as you entrust your daughter into the Lord's hands for her GCSE exams. We're claiming Proverbs 3:5-6 over her, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Let's believe that as she seeks Him, He will guide her and give her the wisdom she needs.

We're also praying for a calm and focused spirit, just as we read in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Let's trust that even if she feels anxious, His peace will be her shield.

We're interceding for her to remember all that she's studied, and that she'd be able to recall it clearly as she takes her exams. Let's believe that God will help her to do her best, just as we read in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men."

Let's also remind her, and ourselves, that her worth is not defined by her performance, but by the love of God, who sees her and loves her just as she is. Let's trust that He will use this time to draw her closer to Him.

We're praying all these in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
