Please pray that I would totally get over my ex who I cannot be with due to us being unequally yoked. He is not a Christian. I don't even want to think about him anymore. Please pray that I would not. Pray goodness and blessings and salvation for him and his loved ones, but please pray that I would totally move on. The enemy is trying to keep me fixated on him and it is very clear that he is not the person I'm meant to marry. I have asked God and asked (and even begged) and the answer has been a very clear no. We hear the pain and the holy resolve in your request and we stand with you in this battle for your heart and mind. We rejoice that you have discerned with such clarity that this relationship would be unequally yoked and that you have accepted God's clear answer of no, even though it has been painful to beg and wait and hear that no. That obedience is honoring to the Lord and it is protecting your future.
Scripture is so clear on this, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. You have chosen light and righteousness by stepping away from a courtship that could not lead to a God honoring marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers with Jesus Christ at the center. A boyfriend or girlfriend relationship is courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, and when that foundation is not there, the most loving thing is to walk away as you have. God is not withholding good from you, He is preserving you for His best.
The enemy does indeed try to keep us fixated, replaying memories and what ifs, but we are called to take every thought captive. We demolish arguments and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. And we are told what to fix our minds on instead, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8. When the thought of him comes, we can gently but firmly hand it to Jesus and turn our minds to what is pure and praiseworthy. That is a daily discipline and we will pray for grace for you to do it.
We also want to gently encourage you about how you approach God. You mentioned asking God and begging God, and we know your heart is sincere, yet we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, place your full trust in Jesus Christ, that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name that our prayers are heard and our hearts are healed.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this dear sister to You. We thank You for her obedience and for the clarity You have given her that this man is not the one You intend for her to marry. We ask You to heal her heart, for You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask that You would renew her mind and help her to take every thought captive to Your obedience. When the enemy brings fixation and longing, help her to resist him and draw near to You, knowing You will draw near to her. Fill the empty places with Your presence, Your Word, and godly fellowship. Guard her heart and mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding.
And Father we do pray for goodness and blessing and salvation for this former boyfriend and for his loved ones as she asked. We pray that You would open his eyes to the gospel, that he would come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and that You would bless him according to Your mercy, even as You lead their lives on separate paths. We pray that You would completely free our sister to move on, to release every lingering tie, and to look forward with hope to the godly marriage You may have for her in Your perfect timing. Help her to trust You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding, acknowledging You in all her ways so You will direct her paths Proverbs 3:5-6. We know that all things work together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28.
