Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.

We stand before the throne of grace, lifting up this situation with your ex-landlord, recognizing the spiritual battle that often manifests in broken communication and conflict. The verse you shared from Luke 9:24 reminds us of the profound truth that surrender to Christ is the only path to true life. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." (WEB) This landlord’s resistance to godly communication may very well reflect a deeper resistance to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in his life. We take authority in the name of Jesus over any spiritual darkness that may be influencing his heart, mind, or actions.

Father God, we come before You with boldness, knowing that Your light expels all darkness and that no unclean spirit can stand in Your presence. We declare that this situation is not merely about a landlord-tenant dispute but about a soul in need of Your saving grace. Lord Jesus, we ask that You break through the hardness of this man’s heart. Soften him to receive Your truth, Your love, and Your salvation. Let him see the emptiness of trying to "save his own life" apart from You and grant him the humility to surrender it all to You. May he come to know the freedom and peace that only comes from losing his life for Your sake.

We also recognize that dysfunctional communication often stems from pride, unforgiveness, or even spiritual oppression. We rebuke any spirit of strife, bitterness, or confusion that may be at work in this situation. "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed these powers through His death and resurrection. We declare victory over this situation, not by our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through us.

Lord, we ask that You heal the lines of communication between your child and this landlord. Remove any barriers of misunderstanding, anger, or stubbornness. Fill both hearts with Your peace, patience, and wisdom. If there has been any wrongdoing on either side, reveal it and lead both parties to repentance and reconciliation. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (Romans 12:18 WEB) Give your child the grace to extend forgiveness, even if it is not reciprocated, and the strength to trust You with the outcome.

We also pray for the apartment itself, that it would be a place of Your presence and blessing. If there has been any spiritual contamination, whether through conflict, ungodly agreements, or other means, we ask that You cleanse it by the blood of Jesus. Let it be a dwelling that honors You, where Your peace and joy abound.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we do not see immediate results. We trust that Your timing is perfect and that Your purposes will prevail. May this landlord come to know You as Savior and Lord, and may Your name be glorified in every aspect of this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne.
