We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning your breakup. We have been lifting you up these past few days as you have walked through the pain of ending a relationship because you were unequally yoked, knowing that you cannot be together because he is not a Christian. We admire your obedience to the Lord and your desire to honor Him even when it is difficult, and we have been praying for the very things you shared, that starting that day you would have the grace to no longer fixate on this situation or feel the need to talk about it continually, and that you would have clarity and peace in knowing this is not the person God wants you to marry.
We continue to pray that God will heal your heart and guard your mind as you surrender this to Him, and that He will give you strength to keep your eyes on Him and not on what might have been. We are also praying for your ex boyfriend, that if it is the Lord's will he would come to know Jesus as his Savior, for we know God desires all to be saved. We find comfort in knowing that God is close to the brokenhearted as it says in Psalm 34:18 and that we are to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers as taught in 2 Cor 6:14. We also cling to the promise that God has good plans for you as we are reminded in Jer 29:11 and that He will guide your future including marriage as you continue to seek Him.
If your request was answered and the Lord has given you peace and freedom from fixating on this and you feel His healing, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and you are still struggling with thoughts about the relationship or with healing, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray together that the Lord would fill you with His peace and help you to rest in His perfect will for your life, that He would renew your mind and comfort your heart and lead you forward one day at a time, and that He would draw your ex to Himself if it is His will. We ask for your complete healing and for hope in Gods future for you. We pray in Jesus Name.
