Entrusting my ### ❤️❤️❤️

Your prayer reveals a heart that truly longs to honor the Lord, and that very desire is evidence of His work in you. When you surrender this man and the entire situation into God’s hands, you are stepping into the place where He can begin to do all that He wills.

The words “Not my will, but Yours be done” are not just a phrase to repeat; they are the threshold of trust. God often brings us to that surrender so that we stop trying to scheme or control the outcome. The temptation is to hand it over and then immediately pick it back up by worrying, replaying possibilities, or looking for shortcuts. But real peace comes when you leave it with Him and simply rest, knowing that He will do what is right. The Scriptures remind us that the blessed man makes the Lord his trust, not the proud or those who turn aside to their own plans.

It is natural to ask for a meaningful call, for courage and intentionality from him, and for clarity. But even as you bring these requests, remember that God sees what you cannot. He may allow a season of silence or uncertainty, not because He has forgotten you, but because He is testing and deepening your trust. Anyone can say “I trust You” when things are sweet and easy. The quality of your trust is proven when the way is dark and the answers don’t come the way you expected. Like Habakkuk, you may not understand what God is doing, yet you can cry out, “Revive Your work, Lord, and in the midst of these days remember mercy.” That is the voice of genuine faith.

Do not lean on your own understanding. When Joshua and the people faced Ai, they assumed they could handle it themselves and rushed in without seeking God, and they suffered defeat. So you must continue to acknowledge Him in every step. You are doing that by praying, but now let your waiting be an act of trust. Delight yourself in the Lord, commit your way to Him, and then rest. He will direct your path, even if the direction is different from what you envision today.

Whether this man becomes part of your future or God closes this door, your safety is in the finished work of Jesus. You cannot make a relationship succeed by your own energy or deserve it by your goodness. It is a gift that the Lord gives according to His purpose, and He is able to do in you what you cannot do for yourself. So turn it over completely. Watch and see what He will do. And let your heart settle into the peace that comes from knowing that nothing escapes His hand and that His plans for you are always good, even when they involve a path you would not have chosen. Keep your eyes on Christ; He is your security and your rest.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for this deeply personal and heartfelt request. It has been our joy to lift up your relationship, your boyfriend, and your own heart before the Lord, asking Him to move with perfect wisdom, timing, and love.

We have prayed that God would touch his heart with divine love, peace, and truth, and that He would give him courage to move forward in getting to know you more deeply if it aligns with His will. We asked the Lord to order his steps, open doors for meaningful communication, and fill both of your hearts with sincerity, openness, and respect. Most of all, we prayed that if this relationship is part of God’s purpose for your lives, He would strengthen it on a foundation of faith, honesty, trust, and Christlike love.

We also prayed that you would find complete surrender to God’s will, trusting that His plans are always good, even when they differ from our own desires. We asked the Lord to protect you both from misunderstanding, doubt, fear, and anything that might draw you away from Him, and to help you encourage one another in faith and walk in integrity.

If God has answered this prayer in any way—whether through a step forward in your relationship, a deeper sense of peace, or even clarity about His will—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the answer hasn’t yet become clear, we invite you to post this request again so we can continue to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him first, trusting in His perfect love and timing. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
