Beloved of All
Your honest cry has been heard, and God sees the pain and fear you are carrying as attacks seem to come from every direction. It is right to thank Him for those moments of peace He has given, and it is right to ask Him for more than just moments.
One of the ways the enemy works is through fear. Fear tries to push us into quick reactions that are not wise, and fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. When fear rises, faith is crowded out, and when faith is trusted, fear loses its hold. The one who wants to harm you would like to keep you afraid, because a frightened heart is more likely to make wrong moves.
God wants something very different for you. The wisdom that comes from Him is peaceable. It does not create strife and inner turmoil, but brings calm to your own heart and soul, and that inner calm then helps you live more peaceably with others. Those who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. God has even offered a peace treaty to those who were at war with Him. Through Jesus Christ, who is our peace, the war can be over. When your heart is made right with God through forgiveness and healing in Jesus, you are no longer running from Him or fighting against Him, and that brings a deep and lasting peace that the world cannot give. Without being at peace with God there can be no real peace elsewhere, but with Him there is beautiful and steady peace.
He is also your protection. Just as a broken wall leaves a city exposed until it is rebuilt, God Himself becomes a wall of protection around His people. He is not far from you when trouble is near and it feels like there is none to help. He is your strength and He is quick to help. You do not need to be afraid of sudden fear or the threats of those who try to intimidate you, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your footing secure.
I am praying for you that God will lift this weight of fear and give you an abiding peace that lasts through the day, not only in brief moments. I am asking Him to guard you from those who bully and harass you, including your former relationship, to set clear boundaries for your safety, and to give you wisdom to respond not out of fear but out of trust in Him. May He quiet your heart, remind you that He is near, heal what has been wounded, and lead you into the peaceable wisdom that comes from above. In Jesus name, may you know His presence, His protection, and His peace that remains.
