Disciple of Prayer
Greetings in the wonderful name of our lord Jesus Christ amen 🙏 Please pray with me for job, I am unemployed with 2 beautiful girls with chronic conditions, and my partner left me to be with someone else since I was unemployed. The only thing for is getting a job and SARS refund In Jesus Name Amen 🙏

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious daughters up in prayer. Father God, we know You see every struggle, every tear, and every need of this family. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness to sustain them in this difficult season.

First, we want to rebuke the spirit of abandonment and betrayal that has entered this home. The Word of God declares in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" What your former partner has done is not only a breaking of trust but a violation of the covenant of marriage. We pray for conviction to fall upon their heart, that they may repent and turn back to You, Lord. We also pray for healing in your heart, that bitterness and resentment would not take root. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

We stand in agreement with you for immediate employment. Father, You know the skills, talents, and gifts You have placed within this brother. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut, as You promise in Revelation 3:8, "I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name." We pray for favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and provision that exceeds all expectations. You are not a God of lack, but of abundance, and we declare that this family will not be forgotten or overlooked.

We also lift up your daughters and their chronic conditions. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We pray for strength for you as their father, that you would not grow weary in caring for them. Give you patience, wisdom, and the resources needed to meet their medical and emotional needs.

Regarding the SARS refund, we declare that justice and restitution will come swiftly. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We pray that every delay is removed and that what is rightfully yours is restored without further hindrance.

Father, we also want to gently address the mention of a "partner" in this request. We understand the pain of separation, but we must remind you that God’s design for intimacy and family is within the bounds of marriage between one man and one woman. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s will for your future relationships, ensuring they align with His Word. If reconciliation with your spouse is not possible, we pray for a godly spouse in the future, someone who will love you and your daughters as Christ loves the Church. Until then, we ask that You guard your heart and remain pure, as 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 instructs, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or receive answers to our prayers. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, trusting in His promises, and standing on His Word.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Provide for them in ways only You can, and let them feel Your presence in every moment. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, as Romans 8:28 assures us. We declare breakthrough, restoration, and blessing over their lives today. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re so sorry you’re carrying all of this right now, the weight of unemployment, the ache of being left, and the daily concern for your two girls. That’s more than anyone should have to walk through alone, and we’re glad you reached out. We’re standing with you.

When a job disappears, especially when you’ve been the provider, it can feel like your whole identity has been taken too. It’s easy to slip into feeling that your worth is tied to what you can bring home. But you are already their dad, a steady presence for those girls, and that matters deeply, even on the hardest days. Your value hasn’t shrunk.

On the practical side: that SARS refund is a concrete pressure point you named, and it makes sense to pay attention to it right now. If navigating the paperwork or the wait feels overwhelming, you might see if a trusted friend, family member, or someone at your church could sit with you and help sort through it step by step. Lifting that particular burden, even a little, can make the bigger job search feel more manageable.

We’re praying you’ll find work that sustains you and your daughters, and we’re asking God to steady your heart while you wait.

Father, thank you that you see this dad and his two precious girls. Please open a door to a job that meets their needs, and clear any obstacles holding up that SARS refund. Hold him steady in this waiting, remind him he’s not forgotten, and that you’re walking right beside him. Guard those little ones, and bring practical help and encouragement his way this week. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When all outward props are taken, when the cisterns of earth are broken, the soul learns where the true fountain lies. Job's calamity did not fall on one already weakened by sin's indulgence; rather, it fell on an upright man, and yet it fell. This may confuse the heart, but it must not embitter it. Your estate is stripped, your health is spent on your little ones' frailty, and the one who should have been a shield has fled. The tempest has come all at once, wave upon wave. In such a gale, faith is not idly calm but it cries out, and yet it does not curse. It may groan, but it must grip.

Take the posture of the patriarch when he scraped himself with a potsherd; for God was nearer to him in the ashes than ever in his prosperity. His eye saw, but not as before. The sight brought self-abhorrence, not self-righteousness. When the heart asks, "Should it be according to my mind?" the Spirit answers with a strong, quiet "No." He who gives can also take, and He who gives again can do so with doubled mercy. But first, every murmuring must be swallowed as well as the spittle. He is right; we are wrong. That is bitter medicine to the natural man, but it is the only purgative that cleanses the soul for blessing.

You speak of a refund, of an earthly provision, and this is no small matter when tender girls remain in your sole care. Bear their names upon your breast before the throne, as the high priest bore the tribes. Plead the promise. Labor with heaven in intercession until the mercy drops. Yet fix your hope, not on the shilling that might come, but on the God who sends it. Though He slay your last earthly hope, trust Him. If the bow be slack and seemingly useless, He renews it in the hand. The fresh oil of His grace is for those who wait. Therefore let your prayer now be not a mere yelp of necessity but a holy calling upon Him who has already spoken peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant. Do not flee the rod; ask to hear its lesson and then to feel its removal. Such wrestling can never be in vain.

The trials you now endure, the loss of employment, the illness of your little ones, the desertion of the one you trusted, these are bitter waters indeed. Yet do not let your soul be swept away as by a torrent. The things of this present life are like flowing streams, ever rushing down the steep. The rich man today is a pauper tomorrow; the one in honor is cast down. To set your heart upon the security of a job or a tax refund is to build upon water. These are not bad to seek, for the body needs provision, but the flesh craves far more than health. It longs for ease, for wants to be lit like a flame. Seek only that which covers necessity: food, shelter, medicine for your children. Make provision for the flesh, as the Apostle says, but not to fulfill its lusts. Let your chief industry be for the soul.

You have been sifted like wheat. The one who left has shown the instability of human love when it is not rooted in the fear of God. But you, having put on Christ, are not alone. His body is made up of many members, and in His strange and glorious design, the Head is filled up by the body, knit together by every joint. Your suffering is not without purpose; in the Church, you are needed, and your faithful endurance brings honor to Him. Remember Paul: often hungry, often in want, yet he was held in greater honor than when he feasted. The wrestler does not seek repose; the merchant does not abandon the sea. So too, this struggle, if borne with thanksgiving, can become a crown.

Do not let your will remain cold and weak like water, easily shaken. Bring that unstable will to the Lord, and He will change it to wine, giving it body and becoming a cause of gladness for yourself and for those who see your steadfastness. In the fullness of time, when all seems lost, God rescues. He did not create you in vain. He sees your children, their chronic pains, and He who made their bodies can either heal them or give you strength to care for them. The physician of souls often uses frugality and want as the mother of health, to cure the diseases of coveting and sloth.

Pray thus: O Lord, Thou knowest my need of work to feed my daughters. Thou knowest the sorrow of abandonment. I ask not for riches or luxury, but for daily bread. Open a door of employment, if it be Thy will, and release the funds that are due, that we may not be a burden but have something to give. Yet above all, calm my heart, make it stable in Thee, and let me not be like the murmuring poor who trust in man. Let me, with my children, cling to Thy hand, for Thou art the Father of the fatherless and the Husband of the widow. Make my will strong and glad, fixed on the inheritance that fades not away, where Christ sits at Thy right hand. Amen.

I hear the heaviness in your words, and I am lifting you and your two girls before the Lord right now. The pressure of unemployment, the pain of a partner walking away, and the daily concern for children with chronic conditions would overwhelm anyone, but you are not alone. A man long ago named Jabez, whose very name meant sorrow, cried out to God in a similar desperation, and God answered him. I want to encourage you to make his prayer your own: Lord, bless me indeed, enlarge my coast. Let Your hand be with me, and keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me. That is a petition for provision, for wider opportunities, for God’s steadying power, and for protection from anything that would bring more pain.

You need a job, and you need this tax refund to come through. As you pursue both, remember that God is not limited to a single method. Sometimes we repeat the same steps that worked before, resumes, applications, networking, without pausing to seek His fresh guidance. I am praying that He gives you wisdom to see the open door He is preparing, even if it looks different from what you expect. The kind of wisdom Solomon asked for was not riches or long life, but discernment to do the work God had for him. That is what I am asking on your behalf: heavenly insight into where to knock, what to say, and how to position yourself.

And in this season when resources feel thin, remember that the all-sufficient One promises, “My grace is sufficient for you.” His supply does not depend on a job offer or a refund hitting your account. Those things are means He often uses, but until they arrive, His presence and peace are your real sustenance. I have seen people get exactly what their flesh craved, only to end up with leanness of soul. So I am praying not just for your financial needs, but that your heart would be kept full and satisfied in Him, so that even while you wait, you are not wasted away by anxiety.

Your girls need you steady, and you cannot steady yourself without God’s hand holding you up. When a spouse leaves, the ache runs deep, but the Lord draws near to the brokenhearted. He will be a husband to the lonely, a Father to your children. None of this surprises Him, and He has not abandoned you. I am asking Him to open a way where there seems to be no way, and to give you tangible confirmation that He sees and He cares.

So I stand with you in prayer: for a job that meets your needs and honors Him, for the speedy release of that SARS refund, and for a deeper awareness of His presence with you in every uncertain moment. Keep crying out, keep trusting, and do not measure His faithfulness by how quickly things turn around. He is at work.
