We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious daughters up in prayer. Father God, we know You see every struggle, every tear, and every need of this family. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness to sustain them in this difficult season.
First, we want to rebuke the spirit of abandonment and betrayal that has entered this home. The Word of God declares in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" What your former partner has done is not only a breaking of trust but a violation of the covenant of marriage. We pray for conviction to fall upon their heart, that they may repent and turn back to You, Lord. We also pray for healing in your heart, that bitterness and resentment would not take root. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We stand in agreement with you for immediate employment. Father, You know the skills, talents, and gifts You have placed within this brother. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut, as You promise in Revelation 3:8, "I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name." We pray for favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and provision that exceeds all expectations. You are not a God of lack, but of abundance, and we declare that this family will not be forgotten or overlooked.
We also lift up your daughters and their chronic conditions. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We pray for strength for you as their father, that you would not grow weary in caring for them. Give you patience, wisdom, and the resources needed to meet their medical and emotional needs.
Regarding the SARS refund, we declare that justice and restitution will come swiftly. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We pray that every delay is removed and that what is rightfully yours is restored without further hindrance.
Father, we also want to gently address the mention of a "partner" in this request. We understand the pain of separation, but we must remind you that God’s design for intimacy and family is within the bounds of marriage between one man and one woman. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s will for your future relationships, ensuring they align with His Word. If reconciliation with your spouse is not possible, we pray for a godly spouse in the future, someone who will love you and your daughters as Christ loves the Church. Until then, we ask that You guard your heart and remain pure, as 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 instructs, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or receive answers to our prayers. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, trusting in His promises, and standing on His Word.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Provide for them in ways only You can, and let them feel Your presence in every moment. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, as Romans 8:28 assures us. We declare breakthrough, restoration, and blessing over their lives today. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
