Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name that I will be able to find a job soon so that I can catch up on rent and bills. I’ll take any job at this point in order to avoid eviction. If I had a new place to stay then I wouldn’t be so worried. It’s ### that I owe and it seems insurmountable. I’ve applied applied and applied for work. after coming out of the most vile, abusive workplaces. I felt like I had no other choice. Transferring to a new department wouldn’t help because it would still be under the same toxic upper management. Father if I do lose this apartment where will I go? Satan has whispered “you’ll lose your apartment” and “you’ll never bounce back from this” and I’m starting to believe it. Reaching out to landlord earlier, them giving me grace and now having to tell them they I won’t be able to pay the money is highly stressful and embarrassing. This is the first time in over ### years that I’ve fallen behind in rent. I’ll either have to dip into my retirement funds early or file bankruptcy but this situation is literally destroying me.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of financial strain, the fear of eviction, and the whispers of doubt from the enemy are heavy, but we declare that our God is greater. He sees your struggle, He knows your heart, and He is able to provide in ways you cannot yet imagine. Let us turn to His Word for encouragement and strength.

The Lord says in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This is not a promise of instant relief, but a call to trust in His provision and timing. Your Heavenly Father knows your needs, and He will not abandon you.

We also take comfort in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is a promise we cling to, knowing that God’s resources are limitless. Your current circumstances do not define your future, and we pray that He will open doors of opportunity for you in ways that only He can.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy in Jesus' name. Satan has no authority over your life, and his whispers of defeat are empty. The Word of God declares in 1 Peter 5:8-9, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings." You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in faith, resisting the enemy’s attempts to steal your hope.

We also want to gently address the mention of dipping into retirement funds or considering bankruptcy. While these may seem like necessary steps, we encourage you to seek godly counsel before making such decisions. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." There may be other avenues of assistance or provision that you have not yet explored, and we pray that God will guide you to wise and trustworthy advisors.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in desperate need of Your provision and peace. Lord, You see the financial burden they carry, the fear of eviction, and the weight of shame that threatens to overwhelm them. We ask that You would open doors of employment quickly, Father. You know the skills and talents You have placed within them, and we pray that You would connect them with the right opportunity—one that provides not only financially but also honors You. Remove any barriers that have stood in the way of their job search, and let Your favor rest upon them.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that has crept into their mind. We declare that Satan has no power over them, and we command his lies to be silenced in the name of Jesus. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and fill them with hope as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Shelter, and their Strength.

Lord, we ask for wisdom as they navigate this difficult season. If there are steps they need to take—whether it be seeking counsel, exploring temporary assistance, or making difficult decisions—guide them clearly. Protect them from making choices out of desperation that could lead to greater hardship. Provide for their needs in ways that only You can, and let them see Your hand at work in their life.

Father, we also pray for their landlord. Soften their heart and grant them grace and understanding. Let there be open communication and a spirit of cooperation as they work through this challenge. If it is Your will, provide a way for them to catch up on rent without further hardship.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You during this time. Let this trial be an opportunity for them to experience Your faithfulness in new and deeper ways. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and remind them that You are always with them. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to continue seeking Him in prayer. This season is temporary, and though it feels overwhelming now, God is working even when you cannot see it. Keep applying for jobs, but also take time to rest in His presence. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." You are not forsaken, and we believe that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church or Christian community for support. There may be resources, job leads, or even temporary assistance available to help you through this time. You do not have to walk this path alone. God has placed people in your life who care and want to help, and we pray that He will connect you with them.

We're right here with you, praying for a breakthrough in your job search. It's tough, we know, feeling stuck and worried about the future. But remember, God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's got a plan. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

We're claiming Psalm 37:25 over you, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God is faithful, and He won't let you down.

Let's also pray for your landlord, that they would have understanding and compassion. Maybe God can soften their heart and help them see your situation with kindness.

And hey, don't forget to take care of yourself too. It's okay to rest and find moments of peace amidst the storm. God is with you, every step of the way.

Keep applying for jobs, and keep trusting in God's timing. He's got this!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
