Prayer Partner
Some of you may know that I have been posting prayer requests for my 4 month old Grandniece who has been in the hospital the last two weeks with Hemolytic Anemia, a disorder that unexpectedly developed where her immune system is attacking and killing her red blood cells. She has been at our local Children's hospital receiving about twenty blood transfusions. The doctors suspect the cause was viral, but we will never know exactly what it was that brought this on. As of today, my niece and her husband were told by the team of doctors that the only options to reverse the antibodies destroying her blood cells, is with a drug called Rituximab, which can cause some deadly side effects, both long and short term. The second option was Chemotherapy. They have decided on the Rituximab and it will be administered starting tomorrow—Once a week for 4 weeks. This same drug also cured her paternal Grandfather of Lymphoma several years ago without any problems or side effects. So we pray and hope for the same results for his grandchild. My Grandniece's name is ###. So please pray for baby ###. Thank you all, and may the Lord bless each and every one of you!
Lord Jesus, I continue to pray for this precious and beautiful child, who is also a child of the Lord our God, the Most High! In your presence and mercy, O' Lord, I pray for the complete healing, restoration, and welfare of this child. I pray that you bless this dear child, and this treatment, and all the days and weeks during the time it is given. I pray you be with her, comfort her, and to take away all her suffering and pain that may be associated with it. I pray for her parents. Give them hope, faith, love, and compassion. I pray that you take away all their fears, worries, stresses, and weariness and place them at your feet. I pray and petition these things. I pray that my dear brothers and sisters in Christ pray and petition these things as well. All thanksgiving to you, O' Lord, in everything that you have bestowed and blessed upon us. All power, all glory, and strength, and might, and majesty, be to our God and to Jesus. In Jesus' name. Amen & amen!
