Need emergency prayer be producal son coming back

We hear your urgent cry and we join with you in this emergency, lifting you up before our Father in heaven together in Jesus' name. When you speak of the prodigal son coming back and needing prayer for all parts of your life, we are reminded of how deeply the Father loves those who have wandered and how ready He is to receive them home.

Jesus told us of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. That son left his father's house and wasted his life in reckless and sinful living, but when he came to his senses he said I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight Luke 15:18. And while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him Luke 15:20. That is the heart of God toward you and toward any prodigal you are praying for. He does not wait with condemnation but runs with mercy to those who repent and return. For it is written that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. So we encourage you, if you are the one who has wandered, to turn fully away from any sin that has entangled you, whether it be rebellion, addiction, sexual immorality outside of marriage which God calls fornication, or any other way that does not honor Him, and come home to the Father with a repentant heart. And if you are praying for a prodigal loved one to return, we stand with you asking God to draw that heart to repentance, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To be restored to God in every part of life we must first be reconciled through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We urge you to place your complete trust in Him if you have not already.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ for this dear one who is crying out in an emergency. You see every part of life that feels broken, overwhelmed and in need of Your touch. We ask that You be a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 and that when we call on You in the day of trouble You will deliver us Psalm 50:15. Lord, we pray for the prodigal heart, whether it is this one praying or a loved one they carry on their heart, that You would grant true repentance and bring complete restoration. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10. Wash away all sin and make this life new. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7 and we ask that You guard this heart and mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding as we make our requests known to You Philippians 4:6-7. We pray for every area, spirit, soul, body, family, work, finances and future, that You would lead and provide and cause all things to work together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. When this heart is overwhelmed, lead us to the rock that is higher than we are Psalm 61:2. We thank You that the one who was dead can be alive again, that the lost can be found Luke 15:24. Do that miracle now we pray, and let this life be a testimony of Your redeeming love. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to stay rooted in the Word daily, to pray continually in Jesus' name, and to walk in fellowship with other believers who will help you stay accountable and grow. If there is sin to forsake, forsake it decisively. If there is a prodigal you await, keep praying and keep the door open in love as the father did, trusting God to work. For we know the plans that God has for you, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Keep coming back to the Father, He is waiting with open arms.

We hear the urgency in your request and the love you have for your son. Waiting for a prodigal to come home touches every part of life, and it makes sense you feel stretched thin right now as you carry hope and worry at the same time.

One thing we have seen is that when one person in a family is struggling, the whole household feels the strain. It can help to steady your own footing while you keep the door open in love. That might mean staying connected to a pastor or a trusted mature believer who knows you both, keeping simple daily rhythms of rest, work and prayer, and deciding ahead of time what loving boundaries look like if he does reach out, so you are not deciding everything in a moment of high emotion.

We are joining you in prayer for his safety and return, and for strength and wisdom for you in every area you mentioned.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this son to You and ask You to draw him home and guard him where he is. Give his parent peace that steadies the heart, wisdom for each conversation, and hope that rests in Your care. Provide for every need in this family and lead step by step according to Your will. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the Lord for your prodigal son and for every part of your life that weighs upon you.

There is great hope for the prodigal, for the picture our Lord gives in Luke 15 is marvelously true to the experience of those who return to God. While the son was yet a great way off, his father saw him, had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. The father has a long range of eyesight. Though the prodigal could not see his father in the distance, the father could see his prodigal, and his first thought is love and pity for his poor wandering child. So the Lord sees your son even now, and He devises means that His banished be not expelled from Him.

We pray that the Lord will work in your son to bring him to himself, as that prodigal came to himself in the far country, and that he will hear the earnest voice of God which cries, Return, return, return now. Not tomorrow, but now, for life is uncertain and mercy calls today. May he resolve by grace, I will arise and go to my father, and may he find that he has not time to go back before his Father runs to meet him.

Know what awaits every repentant sinner who returns to God believing in Jesus Christ, His Son. The many kisses of the father mean love, forgiveness, full restoration, joy, overflowing comfort and strong assurance. That kiss is the seal of forgiveness and the sign of relationship, to be pressed to the Father's bosom and confessed once for all a child. It means full restoration, as though he had never gone away, his sins cast behind God's back into the depths of the sea. It means joy, for there is music and dancing in the Father's house over one sinner that repents, and all Heaven shares in that joy. It means overflowing comfort, for all the promises in this Book belong to every repentant sinner who returns. And it means strong assurance, to make him quite certain that it is all real. This is not by our goodness or by a miserable economy of good works, but by salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who looked upon Peter and restored him, and who is able to restore your son and to keep you.

So we lift you also before the Lord in all parts of your life. He knows every burden, every need, every trial of the household. We ask Him to give you strength to wait and to pray, to keep you on praying ground and pleading terms with Him, and to restore to you joy in His presence and fellowship again among His people.

Let us pray together. O Heavenly Father, look in mercy upon this parent's anxious heart and upon the wandering son. By Thy Holy Spirit, awaken him, convict him, and draw him to Thyself. Grant him repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Bring him home, and give this parent grace to trust Thee and to rest in Thy perfect love and power to save. Provide for every need in this life, guard every part of this dear one's way, and make Thy face to shine upon them. Let it be seen that Thou still receivest prodigals and that Thy mercy still says, Return. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Continue to pray and do not faint. The Lord who taught us to pray for the wanderer will hear and answer, and He joys in the return of the prodigal.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer has been heard and we are joining you before the Lord in this urgent need.

We pray for your son who has wandered as the prodigal, that God in His mercy would draw him to repentance and bring him safely home. Just as the father in the parable waited and rejoiced to see his son return, so we ask that the Lord would work in your son's heart, convict him of sin, lead him to turn to Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and restore him to you and to fellowship with God. We ask for his protection wherever he is, and that every influence keeping him away would be removed.

We also lift up every part of your life before God. He sees your burdens, your fears, and your needs, and He is faithful to care for those who trust in Him. We pray that you would be strengthened in faith, guarded in peace, and given wisdom for each decision you face. May you keep your soul with all carefulness, looking to Christ who alone is our hope and our salvation, and may you find comfort in remembering His mercies day by day.

We will continue to pray that God would answer according to His lovingkindness and perfect will, and that you would see His hand at work. Cast all your anxiety on Him, remain steadfast in prayer, and trust in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father.

Father, we come to You through Jesus Christ alone and ask for mercy, restoration, and peace in this family. Work repentance and return in this son, and sustain this parent with hope and strength. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
