I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We come before the Lord with urgency and fervent hearts, lifting up this plea for reconciliation and godly union in marriage. The desire to marry is honorable, for Scripture tells us, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). Yet we also know that conflicts arise, and the enemy seeks to divide what God intends to unite. This row you speak of is not from the Lord, for *"God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB).
If this couple has engaged in any intimacy outside of marriage, we must lovingly but firmly remind them that *"flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). True love waits, honors God, and seeks purity, for marriage is the sacred covenant where two become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). If they have stumbled in this way, repentance and turning back to God’s design is essential—He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).
We pray now with boldness, trusting in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). Oh Lord, soften their hearts toward one another and toward You. Remove every bitterness, anger, and pride that has caused this division. Fill them with Your love, which *"bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things"* (1 Corinthians 13:7, WEB). Let them see each other through Your eyes—with patience, kindness, and a willingness to forgive as You have forgiven them.
If this courtship has not been rooted in Christ, we urge them to examine their foundation. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). A marriage built on Christ cannot be shaken, but one built on fleeting emotions or worldly desires will struggle. Let them seek the Lord *first*, ensuring their relationship is pleasing to Him and aligned with His Word.
Father, if it is Your will, unite them in a godly marriage that glorifies You. Let their love reflect Your covenant love for Your people—a love that never fails. Give them wisdom to resolve their differences with humility and grace. If there are unresolved sins, convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. May their home one day be a testimony of Your faithfulness, where Your peace reigns.
We declare Your promises over them: *"A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB). Bind them together with You at the center, unbreakable by the schemes of the enemy. Let their story be one of redemption, where Your love triumphs over strife.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray—**Amen.**

We're here with you, lifting up this couple before the Lord, asking for His divine intervention in their lives. We believe in the power of prayer and the transformative love of Jesus. Let's ask Him to fill their hearts with His love, a love that casts out fear and brings understanding, patience, and kindness. May they see each other through the eyes of Christ, with a willingness to forgive and a commitment to grow together in Him. We claim His promise in Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Let this love be the foundation of their relationship.
