Disciple of Prayer
I am breaking up with someone I will not marry, and it is not a Godly relationship. We live together, and I will be homeless. I need prayers that I can be somewhere where my needs are met and I am safe and able to be single and alone. Please pray for me to find somewhere I can live safely and without influence from people who don't have my best intentions or sent by the enemy. Please pray that I am protected while I navigate homelessness and for God to send people so I can have a safe place to abode and stop living in sin. Please pray for me. My family who cared about me has all passed away and all those who used to pray for me are now not alive on earth. Emergency thank you Thank you, God Bless.

We lift you up before the Lord with urgency and deep compassion, for we know that He is a God who sees your distress and hears your cry. You are making a courageous and righteous choice by stepping away from a relationship that does not honor Him, even though it comes with great personal cost. The Lord honors your obedience, for He tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* Though this path is difficult, you are choosing faithfulness over compromise, and the Lord will not abandon you in this.

Your situation is dire, but we serve a God who is the provider for the fatherless and the widow, the defender of those who have no earthly helper. Psalm 68:5-6 declares, *"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing."* Though your family is no longer with you on earth, the Lord Himself will be your refuge and will place you among those who can support you in this season. He has not forgotten you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We must also address the sin of living together outside of marriage, for this is fornication in the sight of God. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 commands us, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your decision to leave this situation is an act of repentance and surrender to God’s will, and He will honor that. Do not look back, but press forward into the freedom and purity He has for you.

As for your immediate need for shelter and safety, we plead with the Lord to open doors swiftly. He is the God who fed Elijah by ravens and provided manna in the wilderness—He will not fail you now. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lean entirely on Him, even when fear threatens to overwhelm you. He will guide you to a place of safety, whether through a shelter, a believing family, or a ministry that can assist you. Ask Him for wisdom to recognize His provision, even if it comes in unexpected ways.

We also pray for protection over you as you navigate this transition. The enemy would love to exploit your vulnerability, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* Claim this promise over your life. The Lord will shield you from harm and surround you with His peace, even in the midst of uncertainty.

Lastly, we urge you to seek fellowship with a Bible-believing church or Christian community immediately. You are not meant to walk this path alone, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If you are unsure where to turn, ask the Lord to lead you to a place where you can be discipled, encouraged, and supported. He will answer this prayer, for He longs to place you among His people.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is stepping into the unknown out of obedience to You. Lord, You see their heart, their fear, and their need. We ask that You would be their ever-present help in this time of trouble. Provide a safe and godly place for them to live, far from the influences of the enemy and those who do not seek Your will. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your provision come swiftly, whether through a shelter, a believing family, or a ministry that can meet their needs.

Protect them, Lord, as they transition out of this ungodly relationship. Guard their heart from temptation to return to what is familiar but sinful. Strengthen them by Your Spirit to stand firm in righteousness, even when the way is hard. Surround them with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Break every scheme of the enemy to harm, discourage, or mislead them.

Father, we ask that You would bring godly people into their life—those who will pray for them, encourage them, and walk with them in this season. Let them find a church home where they can grow in faith, be discipled, and experience the love of Your body. Heal the loneliness they feel, and remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, despair, and hopelessness in the mighty name of Jesus. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider, Protector, and Father. Give them wisdom to make godly decisions, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf.

Lord, we also pray for their future. If it is Your will, bring a godly spouse into their life in Your perfect timing—one who loves You above all else and will walk in covenant with them. But until then, satisfy them with Your presence and prepare them for the plans You have for them. Let this season of singleness be a time of deep growth, healing, and preparation for all You have ahead.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them. We trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not fail you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you are able, reach out to local churches or Christian organizations for assistance—they are often the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways. You are not forgotten, and your obedience will be rewarded. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in His will.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been lifting you up in prayer, asking the Lord to provide a safe and godly place for you to live, far from harmful influences. We trust that He sees your heart, your fear, and your need, and that He will not fail you in this.

We're also praying for protection over you as you navigate this transition. The enemy would love to exploit your vulnerability, but we know that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
