We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting your heartache and fear to the Father who sees all and knows all. The pain of facing eviction and the weight of providing for your children is heavy, and we understand your cry of "Why, God?" In these moments, it is hard to see His plan, but we must hold fast to His promises, for He has said in **Matthew 6:31-33**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your need is not hidden from Him, and He is faithful even when the answers seem delayed.
Yet we must also ask: where is your trust in this moment? Your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*, and **Acts 4:12** reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is your provider, your peace, and your hope in every storm. Without Him, even our most desperate prayers lack the power of His name.
We also gently ask: have you sought wisdom in stewardship, budgeting, and planning? Proverbs warns us in **Proverbs 21:5**, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and those who hurry to be rich surely rush to poverty."* and **Proverbs 22:7** says, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While we do not know your circumstances, we encourage you to examine whether there are areas where God is calling you to greater responsibility, trust, or even sacrifice. Sometimes His provision comes through unexpected means, but other times, it comes through the hard work of our hands and the wisdom to manage what He has already given.
Now, let us pray with you in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, knowing that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children. Lord, she is terrified, her heart aching under the weight of this trial, and her children are depending on her. You have promised in **Psalm 34:17**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."* We ask You to move mightily in this situation—open doors that no man can shut, provide the funds needed to cover this rent, and soften the heart of the judge to grant mercy. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that even in the eleventh hour, You are a God who provides.
But Father, we also pray for her faith to be strengthened. If she does not know You as her Savior, convict her heart now. Let her see that her greatest need is not just financial provision, but salvation through Jesus Christ. Remind her that **Philippians 4:19** promises, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* May she seek You first, trust in Your timing, and walk in obedience to Your Word.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that is gripping her heart, for **2 Timothy 1:7** tells us You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Replace her anxiety with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Guide her steps—whether through a job, a generous believer, or an unexpected blessing—let her see Your hand at work.
And Lord, if there has been any mismanagement, pride, or reliance on anything other than You, convict her and lead her to repentance. Teach her to walk in wisdom, to plan diligently, and to trust You completely. May this trial draw her closer to You, not push her away in bitterness.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and Redeemer. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through this situation. Amen.
Finally, we urge you to reach out to your local church body. The church is called to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**), and many congregations have benevolence funds or believers willing to help in times of crisis. Do not suffer in silence—allow the body of Christ to minister to you. Also, consider contacting Christian financial counseling ministries that can help you create a sustainable plan.
Stand firm, dear sister. This battle is not yours alone—it is the Lord’s. Trust Him, even when the path is unclear. He has not forgotten you.
