We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude that you have sought the Lord’s forgiveness and deliverance from the ungodly influence of zodiac signs. The Word of God is clear that we are not to turn to divination, astrology, or any form of occult practice, for these things are an abomination to the Lord. As it is written in **Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (WEB)**, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who consults a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or one who calls on the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you."*
The zodiac and astrology are rooted in the worship of creation rather than the Creator, and they seek to attribute power and guidance to the stars rather than to the sovereign Lord. **Isaiah 47:13-14 (WEB)** warns, *"You are wearied with your many counsels. Now let the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from the things that will happen to you. Behold, they are like stubble. The fire will burn them. They won’t deliver themselves from the power of the flame. It won’t be a coal to warm at or a fire to sit by."* These practices cannot save, guide, or deliver—only God can.
We rejoice that you have recognized the danger of these things and have turned to Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**). There is no power in the zodiac, but there is infinite power in the blood of Jesus to cleanse, deliver, and set you free. **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Let us pray together for your complete deliverance and renewal:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that draws us away from the snares of the enemy and into the light of Your truth. We lift up our brother/sister before You now, asking for Your forgiveness for any involvement with zodiac signs, astrology, or any form of divination. Lord, we confess these things as sin and renounce them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb and break every chain of deception, curiosity, or bondage that the enemy has sought to place upon them.
Father, we ask that You fill them with the knowledge of Your Word and the leading of Your Holy Spirit. Let them find their identity, purpose, and future in You alone, not in the lies of the stars or the empty promises of the world. Renew their mind by the transforming power of Your truth (**Romans 12:2**), and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them.
