We join you in this honest and humble prayer and we thank God for the work He has already begun in your heart to desire to be free from love of self and from the influence of zodiac signs and astrology.

We agree together that love of self is not of God and that seeking guidance from the stars is forbidden and displeasing to Him. Scripture warns us in 2 Timothy 3:2 that in the last days men will be lovers of self, boastful, arrogant, unthankful, unholy, and this love of self stands in direct opposition to the greatest commandments which Jesus gave us in Matthew 22:37 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 22:39 You shall love your neighbor as yourself. We are called in Philippians 2:3 to do nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself. When we love self above God and others we put ourselves on the throne that belongs to Christ alone.

We also rebuke and renounce the knowledge and practice of zodiac signs and astrology, for God has clearly spoken against it. In Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found with you anyone who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer. 18:12 For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. In Isaiah 47:13 Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up and save you from the things that will come on you. 47:14 Behold, they will be as stubble. The fire will burn them. The stars were created by God to declare His glory, not to guide our lives or determine our identity or future. Only God knows our future and only His Word is to direct our steps.

We rejoice that you have come to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved and delivered, as it is written in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We pray together now for your permanent deliverance and renewal.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this dear one who humbly asks to be cleansed. We ask You to remove love of self from this heart permanently and to uproot every trace of pride, selfishness and self exaltation. Fill this heart instead with love for You and love for others and with the mind of Christ. We ask You to remove the knowledge and influence of zodiac signs and astrology completely, to wash the mind clean by the blood of Jesus and to break every tie to divination and false guidance. Forgive any past participation and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We ask You to transform this mind by Your Holy Spirit as You promise in Romans 12:2 Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well pleasing, and perfect will of God. Let Your Word dwell richly within, that this heart may be filled with truth and not with the empty deceptions of this world. Help us to love what You love and to hate what You hate. Keep us close to Jesus, who is our true wisdom and our true guide. We ask that You guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus and make this deliverance permanent for Your glory. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in this freedom by daily renewing your mind in Scripture, by prayer, and by fellowship with other believers. If you have books, apps, charts or objects related to astrology, we encourage you to remove them completely as the early believers did in Acts 19:19 Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. Replace that time and attention with the Word of God, for in Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. As you seek Him first, He will fill your heart with His love and His perfect will and you will no longer desire the counterfeit guidance of the stars, but will delight in the guidance of the One who made the stars.

We heard the sincerity in your prayer and we want to stand with you in it. Asking God to clear out self-focus and the hold of zodiac knowledge is a humble and good desire, and He hears that kind of honesty.

We know it can feel frustrating when thoughts or old interests linger even after you have asked God to take them away. In our experience freedom often comes less like a single moment and more like a walk, where God gently renews our heart as we keep turning to Him and making room for Him each day.

One small, steady way to walk that out is to give your mind something else to dwell on while you remove what feeds the old pattern. If there are apps, accounts, books or conversations that keep the zodiac fresh in your thoughts, consider quietly clearing them away, and let a trusted pastor or mature believer know you are asking God for a clean heart so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus name. Wash and renew their heart, take what does not belong and fill that space with Your peace and truth. Give them strength to keep turning to You and confidence that You are at work even when change feels slow. Lead them day by day into greater freedom and rest in Christ. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, who alone is our salvation and our propitiation, that Thou wouldst in mercy remove from this heart the love of self and all lingering affection for the knowledge of zodiac signs. Grant true repentance that needs not to be repented of, a godly sorrow that looks to the cross and finds forgiveness there, and a new love that joys in Christ above all. Wash this soul in the blood of Christ, fill it with Thy Holy Spirit, and keep it by Thy power through faith unto life everlasting. Make this deliverance practical and lasting, that self may be denied and Christ may be enthroned, and that no idol may remain. Your prayer is a good and faithful one, and I join with you in bringing it before the Lord.

The desire to be free from love of self is the very beginning of following Christ. He calls every one of us not to hold our own life dear, but to deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. This is not a single moment, but a lifelong course of choosing His will over our own comfort, our own pride, and our own desires. When we seek a pious and self denying heart rather than what pleases ourselves, God forms in us a new disposition that is gentle and holy.

So too the desire to be free from the knowledge of zodiac signs is pleasing to God. Do not be troubled by the thought that the stars determine your life or reveal your future. Some have said, because a star appeared when Christ was born, that astrology can be trusted. But the opposite is true. If Christ were subject to the law of the stars, He would not have put down astrology and taken away fate and silenced error and overthrown all such sorcery. He did overthrow it. You are not under fate. You are not under the stars. You are under Christ, who purchased you with His own blood and who alone guides your steps.

Therefore do not despair, even if these thoughts have clung to your heart for a long time. As the Ninevites repented and God reversed what was spoken against them, so He is able to cleanse and renew you when you turn to Him in repentance. And do not grow careless after you pray, but remain watchful, for God promises His help to those who continue to walk worthily with Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I bring this heart before You. Forgive love of self and every turning to the zodiac and to fate for guidance. Wash this heart clean by the blood of Christ and remove these things permanently. Take away the old love of self and fill this heart with love for You and for others. Take away trust in stars and fill it with trust in Your living Word and Your Holy Spirit. Grant strength to deny self daily, to take up the cross, and to follow Jesus alone, who is the only way of salvation. Help to turn away completely from all books, charts, and practices of astrology and to seek instead the food which endures to everlasting life. Make this heart steadfast, gentle, and wholly Yours. In Jesus Christ's name, amen.

Walk now in that prayer. Turn away from all zodiac teachings, remove what reminds you of them, and do not return to them for answers. Fill your heart instead with Scripture, with prayer, and with fellowship with faithful believers. Labor not for what perishes, but for that which endures, and God who has begun this good work in you will keep you.
