We join with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and forgiveness, for it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). How gracious is our God, who does not treat us as our sins deserve but removes them as far as the east is from the west when we repent!
Yet we must also encourage you to approach God with reverence, for He is holy. While we understand the urgency of your heart, let us remember that prayer is not merely a ritual but a sacred conversation with our Heavenly Father. The name of Jesus Christ is powerful and must be honored—not reduced to an abbreviation or casual mention. It is through *His name alone* that we have access to the throne of grace, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Let us never take for granted the price paid for our forgiveness—Jesus’ precious blood shed on the cross.
We also notice you asked for forgiveness of *"all sins from yesterday."* While it is good to seek daily cleansing, let us examine our hearts: Are we truly repentant, turning away from sin, or do we treat God’s grace as a license to repeat the same offenses? *"What shall we say then? Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
