We rejoice with you as you've come with a repentant heart before God. Scripture tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). This is a promise from God, and we can trust that He will forgive us when we come to Him with a sincere heart.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with a humble heart, lifting up this dear soul who has asked for Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin (Exodus 34:6-7 WEB). We ask that You forgive their wrongdoings, cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and restore them to a right relationship with You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time (1 Timothy 2:6 WEB).
We also pray that they will continue to walk in Your ways, being guided by Your Holy Spirit. May they be strengthened in their faith and grow in the knowledge and love of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May You bless them with the power of your Holy Spirit and create in their hearts a desire to live and walk in your ways always.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in prayer and the study of God's Word. As you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, you will experience the transforming power of His love and forgiveness. If there are any specific sins or issues you are struggling with, don't hesitate to seek godly counsel and accountability. Remember, "Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him" (James 1:12 WEB).
If you have not made Jesus Lord of your life, we encourage you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31 WEB), for it is by the name of Jesus that we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not been baptized since you believed, we encourage you to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38,39 WEB).
