Beloved of All
Rejoicing with you in what God has done is a blessing. You asked for prayer about your theory test and now you are sharing that worry has lifted and a deep peace has taken its place, that you are remembering what you have learned and the part that was difficult is now clear. We thank God with you for this and we will continue to pray for you as you prepare and sit for the test.
Scripture speaks of two kinds of peace. First there is peace with God, which only comes through the blood of Jesus Christ when our sins are forgiven and we are no longer at war with Him. Then there is the peace of God, that steady keeping of the heart and mind that guards us even when circumstances around us are still uncertain. Many know the first and yet have not learned to live in the second. What you are describing is that second work, the peace of God filling your heart.
The Lord promises to keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. That is not a peace the world can give or understand. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world gives peace when everything is going well, but the peace of Christ can keep you calm when there is still a test ahead. It is the peace that passes all understanding, keeping heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
That peace comes as you keep your mind turned toward Him and rest in Him. It is entering into rest, believing that He is able to do what you cannot do for yourself. In our own strength we only fail and then we grow discouraged and lose our rest, so we are called to labor to enter that rest by trusting Him and fixing our thoughts on Him. You are not perfect, none of us are, but God is at work and He is faithful to keep you as you trust Him.
Continue to keep your mind stayed on the Lord as you study and when you take the test. Bring every anxious thought to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and ask Him to keep your heart steady. We are praying that He will keep you in that perfect peace, help you recall what you have learned with a clear mind, and give you confidence not in yourself but in His care for you. May He ordain peace for you and establish His good work in you as you trust Him.
