Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with thankfulness that you have turned to Him in this time of pressure.
It is understandable to feel anxious when you have worked hard to learn much and fear you will forget it, and to feel stuck on a part that is hard to understand. Scripture invites us to bring exactly this kind of burden to Christ, for He says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He does not call you to account harshly but to give you peace and to take away your fear, and to place you in His care.
I pray for you now that God will grant you the wisdom you have asked for. True wisdom is not only cleverness or memory alone, but the help that comes from God who gives generously to those who ask Him. Ask Him for clarity for that small part you are struggling to understand, and trust that He delights to give understanding. I pray also that He will calm your heart, quiet your worrying thoughts, and help you to recall what you have studied when you need it.
Continue to study faithfully and do what is in your power to prepare, while resting your heart in Him. Cast your anxiety on Him in prayer, and ask for a calm mind and steady focus both as you prepare and when you sit for the test itself.
May the Lord grant you peace in place of worry, wisdom for what is difficult, and strength to do your best, and may you know His presence with you whatever the outcome. I will keep you in prayer for your test and for the days of preparation before it.
