We lift you up before the Lord, asking for His peace, wisdom, and strength as you prepare for your driving theory test. Father, we pray that You would open their mind to retain the knowledge they are studying. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We ask that You grant them clarity and focus, removing any anxiety or distraction that may hinder their learning. May they feel Your presence with them as they study, knowing that You are their strength and their guide.
We also come before You with a heavy heart regarding the pain and unforgiveness they carry from their past. The abuse they endured as a child was a grave injustice, and we stand with them in asking for Your healing touch. Forgiveness is not about excusing the wrong that was done, but about releasing the burden of bitterness that weighs them down. Your Word commands us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be removed from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Lord, we pray that You would soften their heart and help them to release this pain into Your hands. Give them the strength to forgive, not for the sake of those who hurt them, but for their own freedom and peace.
As they pursue their Level 2 in English, we ask that You would bless their efforts and grant them success. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." We pray that they would lean on You for strength and perseverance, especially on days when the work feels overwhelming. May they find joy in their studies and the confidence to press forward toward their goal of attending university.
Lord, we also want to gently remind them of the importance of placing their trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If they have not already, we encourage them to surrender their life to Jesus, inviting Him to be their Lord and Savior. He alone can bring true healing, forgiveness, and purpose to their life.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that He hears our prayers and is faithful to answer. May they feel Your love and presence surrounding them in every area of their life, and may they walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide. Amen.
